Blades POV

"Blade get yyour ass down here" I heard my mom yell from down stairs I could tell she was drunk because it was almost as if she was struggling just to get those simple words out of her mouth.

I sat up as pain shot through my body and memories of last night came flooding back. Last night I got one of my worst beatings ever I got up and looked in the mirror to see a huge hand print on my cheek and a cut on my cheek bone. I grounded as I remembered that I used my last bit of cover up yesterday.

"Fuck." I yelped in pain as I accidentally pushed down on my cheek to hard. "God damnit."
I got dressed into this (outfit below)

I put on extra bracelets so all the way up to my elbows were covered on both of my arms. I put on mascara and eyeliner and brushed my fringe so it was covering as much of my bruised cheek as possible.

I ran downstairs and out the door as fast as possible school here I come. Let's just hope I make it through the day. I thought to myself.

Time Skip to 3rd period (because I'm lazy and I can)

So far the day has been filled with people calling me names, picking on me, and pushing me into lockers. The thing is it doesn't really bother me anymore I'm so used to the pain it's almost as if I've gone numb at this point.

It's currently the middle of period three music and I'm sitting in the corner per usual singing to myself as the teacher talks. According to the teacher I'm one of the best singers in the whole school but I don't believe her.

"Blade. Would you come up here and sing a solo for the class we're all doing solos to show Andy here what we do here." I looked up to be met with the most beautiful pearcing blue eyes I've ever seen, the kind you would usually only find on angles, I'm only part angle so I have blue eyes but there not as blue mine were at one point but with everything I've gone through they are more of a dull blue grey.

"Y yeah s sure, w what song?" I asked cursing in my mind as I stuttered.

"I don't know... Andy do you have any suggestions?"

"Yeah, how about face down by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus?" He asked with a deep raspy voice.

"Y yeah ok." I said just loud enough for them to hear. I walked up to the front of the class and the teacher put on the instrumental version and I started singing.
