A high school boy by the name of Daniel Harper has an abusive step dad and a mom that is too scared to defend herself and her son. Daniel came home from school on a Tuesday to his drunken step dad. Not only was he drunk, but he has just been fired from his job. Daniel walked into his mother's room to see his step dad hitting his mother. Daniel tried to stop him from hitting his mom, but his step dad Tom just turned around, grabbed him, and drug him to his room where he started hitting Daniel. Daniel's mother, Megan walked into Daniel's room where she saw Tom hitting Daniel. She ran back to her room to retrieve her cell phone. She then ran back to Daniel's room and yelled at Tom "Stop hitting my son, this is between you and I, and I'm calling the cops". Tom then walked up to Megan, took her phone then slammed it on the floor.
