I remember that day...
The day I met HER...

Pink Tourmaline POV
I was called to attendance by blue diamond to discuss the recent battle between the rebellion and homeworlds forces.

"My Diamond, you called for my presence?"

She only stared down at me, her breathing loud and paced.

"My Diamond?"

"Pink Tourmaline, i have a order for you to full fill."

"Anything for you, My Diamond."

"Hm.." She just stared down at me for a solid ten seconds.

"As you may have heard, the rebellion and their leader, Rose Quartz, has caused major casualties during their last attack. I need you to go and find any alive and intact homeworld soldiers you possibly can, heal their wounds, and have them report to the nearest gem base for attendance. Any rebels that are found will be sent here immediately for shattering." 

"As you wish, my Diamond."

As i would make my way to start my mission, blue diamond would call out for me once more.

"Pink Tourmaline." I'd stop in my tracks, turning back around.

"My diamond?"

"You will not be headed alone on your mission."
I stopped for a moment to think, only an expression of confusion upon my face.

"W..What do you mean, My diamond?"

She'd look away for a moment, tears running down her face.

"Due to pink diamonds shattering, we cannot risk having another rare and valuable gem harmed or shattered, so I will be sending one of my best soldiers with you to accompany you on your mission."

I'd be slightly offended, does she think I cannot take care of myself?

"My Diamond, that's absurd. I do not need --"

"Silence." She'd say with a low but pristine voice. "You will take this soldier with you if you like or not."

I was shocked, she never has once talked to me, Pink Tourmaline, that way!

"I--Y-yes, My Diamond."

"Good." She'd say, turning to Pearl. "Pearl."

"Yes, my diamond?" Pearl would say in a soft voice.

"Go fetch the soldier for me." She'd say, shooing her away.

"Yes, my diamond" She'd say, walking away...
