Nineteen| Apologize
Ethan and I were on the farther side of the beach building a sand castle and for some strange reason he kept staring at me. My eyes finally met his.
"What ya thinking about?" I asked.
"Us" he stated
"What about us?"
"I...Nothing. It's stupid."
"Ugh. I hate when you do that. Now you got me curious." I whined
"Don't worry. It was nothing important, Now come on so we won't be late seeing the fireworks" he said pulling me alongside with him.
We finally came across the place where they were shooting the fireworks. We sat down with Harley and her friends and just in time, because that's when the sky started to light up with different colors and patterns.
"Wow" Ethan mumbled to himself, looking up at the sky in awe. He was absolutely adorable when he was fascinated in things.

As we were driving back to the house, Ethan took a sudden stop on the side of the road.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"You know how when I said I was thinking about us?" He smirked
"Yeah?"
"Well...I might just marry you one day" he smiled, showing off his pearly whites.
"I might just say yes one day" I chuckled.
"Good. I hope you do." He said pulling into my driveway.
My face expression turned cold and I was about to get mad. But it's so hard to get mad at Ethan, especially after he just said he wanted to marry me.
"Why are we here?" I asked sternly
"You need to talk to you're mom, Violet. She probably misses you."
"No I don't, and if she truly missed me she would have called or text or something."
"Please Violet. "
I sighed, opened the door and started walking towards the house I once lived in. I rung the doorbell and almost immediately my mom opened the door. A huge smile appeared on her face and she embraced me in a hug, I couldn't help but hug back. It felt so good to hug her again.
"I missed you so much. I will never ever take you for granted again and I won't be so strict ever again. I love you and I never meant to call you out like that. I should've knew better. I'm sorry." She cried
"It's..it's okay mom, I love you too."

After about an hour of catching up with my mom and dad, I went back out to the car where Ethan was patiently waiting.
As he pulled out of the driveway I grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his.
"Thank you, Ethan."
