The married couple

CHAPTER 1!

 Angela and Salicia have been married for 3 years. Today was a special day because it was now their 4 years of marriage and Angela didn't want anything to mess it up because she was going to have a dinner  with her family and Salicia's family. Angela worked from home since someone had to take care of their twin boys Timmy and Tommy. Salicia on the other hand worked at a law firm that was always booked with cases. Angela got up early so she could finish getting the house ready even though she had asked Salicia to help clean the house before she left to work. Angela wanted to surprise Salicia with a dinner so both of their families can celebrate together. She decided to call her up at work.

S: "Hey Angela, What's up?"

A: "I know you are at work but I want to know why nothing is done in the house? You know we are having guests over today?"

S: "I'm so sorry, my boss called me in early so I didn't get to have time to clean the house before I left. Wait who is coming over tonight?"

A: "My family and your family are coming over for dinner or did you forget?"

S: "I did forget. I am sorry, but hey I have to go back to work ."

A: "Alright than I will let you go than."

 So once Angela got off the phone she had to clean the house before their family got there. She knew that Salicia only had 2 hours left of work so she would be home before the family got there. After Angela cleaned the house she went into the backyard and noticed there were leaves everywhere so she decided to clean the backyard just in case the family wanted to go back there.

2 hours and 20 minutes later

 Salicia had gotten home from work when she saw her parents car in the driveway. She got out of her car and went into the house and saw her family hanging out with Angela and her family. Angela looked up and saw Salicia coming in the house looking tired. 

S: "Hey guys, sorry I didn't get here before you guys got here but my boss wanted me to finish some stuff for work."

A: "It's okay Salicia we were waiting for you to get here so we all can eat at the same time. We need to talk though in private, come with me to the kitchen."

S: "Alright than."

Salicia and Angela head to the kitchen leaving their parents to talk in the living room. Angela was not liking the fact that Salicia always had to work late even it's on a special day like today. She was always doing things that Salicia needed to do but it never seems to work out like that.

A: "Darling, why do you always work late even on special occasions like today. you were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago and yet you come home late, why?"

S: "Honey, I told you my boss wanted me to finish up some paperwork before I left the office. What is so special about today huh?"

A: "It's been 4 years since we got married or did you forget about that too? you have been to busy working that you forgot our wedding anniversary."

S: "Are you kidding me babe? I didn't forget about our wedding anniversary. I told you I got busy with paperwork at work."

A: "You literally just asked me what was so special about today? So yah I do think you forgot about it."

Salicia got mad at Angela for saying those things that she had to walk away from her before the argument got out of hand. Angela on the other hand went upstairs to her room because she got tired of always being the only one helping around the house all the time and setting up for special events like their anniversary today. She was crying so bad that she didn't even realize her mom walked into the room and sat on her bed hugging her. 

A's Mom: "Hey honey, what is going on between you and Salicia?"

A: "She is always home late from work, she doesn't help around the house  like she supposed to, she leaves in the middle of night to go god knows where and doing god knows what, Tommy and Timmy are always asking for her to tuck them into bed at night but she doesn't and she even forgot what today was?"

A's Mom: " Well did you ever tell her how you felt honey? She probably doesn't understand how you feel if you don't tell her. She is just like you when it comes to work. I think you both need to talk to each other after we leave tonight. Do you remember what happened a long time ago between your father and I when he would always come home late and I had to stay home taking care of you and your siblings."

A: " No I didn't tell her how I felt because I think I would just push her away. Yes, I remember what happened between you and dad. You guys always argued with each other because he would come home late and you thought he was cheating on you with his coworker.
