"I tried keeping us together, you were too busy keeping secrets"

__

Jughead Jones, the highschool freak as everyone called him, was in his second to last year of high school and was completely sick of the bullshit he received from jock Reggie everyday causes of his freak ness. Though he wouldn't listen to the thick skull idiot in the halls. He sits at his original spot in the most uncomfortable seat in his classroom of French for a whole one hour, as his classmates enjoyed it he'd count the slow but working clock till each class rolled by.

"Juggie!" Betty called her blonde ponytail swaying with each step she took towards Jughead.

"What's up B?" Jughead smiled at Betty.

"Okay! We totally have to talk more about this but later at Pop's" She begun sitting in the front seat of Jughead.

Jughead had always seemed draw to Betty, romantically and, brotherly, he'd never talk about either to her cause she was so hooked on Archie it was almost impossible for the boy to change the subject when Betty brought him up, he sighed and mentally prepared himself for the ten minute talk about his old friend Archie that he doesn't see anymore since middle school. Though Jughead did miss the ginger boy that hung out with him even after middle school that's before the whole football, girlfriend, and Reggie was throws at Archie.

"I think I found you, a girlfriend!" Betty whispered. Girlfriend? Jughead seemed more interested in this conversation but he wasn't a hundred percent on it, a girl? Jughead barley got along with Veronica, and now someone who's probably more bitchy then the attractive long black straight haired girl was. It wasn't that Jughead didn't a girl to love, he just..didn't want to be bored after ten minutes like a child.

"B, no offense! But I don't date well" He says his eyebrows scrunching together as if he was annoyed by this "Mysterious girlfriend''.

"She's funny! And like you" Betty said, shutting Jughead straight up.

Someone like me? Jughead thought, a girl who can actually understand this mysterious boy who enjoyed the smell of canned spray paint and and unsweetened coffee, had finally someone who was exactly like him. He was smiling and couldn't wait to talk more about it with Betty about it.

Jughead all day waited patiently even while eating his small portion lunch, that barley got him even over the hungry part of himself. He even was patient while he shopped at the store having to jump to get everything he wanted since he wasn't tall. He groans as he jumps to reach for a bottle of soda, his favorite the off brand of Dr. Pepper.

"Let me help Jug's" The fimiliar husk voice of Archie said grabbing the soda.

"Isn't it the douchebag of them all" Jughead said snatching the soda from Archie.

Two years ago, Jughead and Archie got in a fight that led them to stop being the double duo they use to be. Jughead could still remember the times but he doubted the attractive Ginger in front of him he calls "PureHeart the Powerful" since Jughead gets amused by joking with Archie.

"I wanted to talk to you" Archie said running his hand through his hair.

"I'm busy" Jughead mumbled.

"You can't shop and talk?" Archie asked a little upset by Jughead.

Archie was always going to be sorry for hurting Jughead Jones he never intended on doing it, he just thought he'd be cooler if he ditched Jughead and make fun of him as well. He knew Jughead wasn't the forgiving type and it would take Archie a long time until Jughead finally forgot about the incident from two years ago.

"No" Jughead simply answered with a shrug.

"Why?" Archie asked.

Jughead looked over at Archie dark brown eyes as they looked way more hurt then the blue ones Jughead hated, since his hair was black and expected a different color than he got. Jughead pushed the cart more and threw things in the cart he didn't need but wanted to try for himself.

"Are going to the party?" Archie asked standing beside Jughead.

"I don't do parties, there stupid and inconvenient" Jughead said pushing the cart into the check out lane.

"You should come one time! Meet someone" Archie said helping Jughead put things on the belt.

Speaking of someone Jughead and Betty, where suppose to go to the diner to talk about that mysterious girl he wanted to meet kind of, but I guess Betty wanted to go to that party to be with Archie even more than she already does. Jughead thinking about Betty, and Archie, makes Jughead, gag.

"I have to write stuff" Jughead lies trying to get rid of Archie the best he can.

"Skip the stupid book and come hang!" Archie pleaded once more.

Jughead gave him an annoyed look before nodding, he received a really pleased smile. Archie continued to help Jughead which Jughead wasn't happy with, Jughead was a very independent person and didn't like the help he received from other people, especially from the people he hated.

After the shopping Jughead walked home holding the paper bags in his arms since he was all not using plastic cause it rips when he walks home, but when with Veronica it's about saving this world that we live even though Jughead wanted to get out of this world the best he could not telling a soul or he'll be a bigger freak than everyone thought. He lived by himself since his Dad wasn't apart of his life and his mother was also just a thing he thought about since his father abandoned him at ten.

Jughead set the bags down on the counter top in his small apartment he owned since fourteen, you can say Jughead was lucky but no, it took him awhile to get this place and a lot of convincing and proof that needs this home. Jughead put the groceries away and waited for nine to com so he can walk all the way to Cheryl Blossoms house. He hated her the most she'd comment on Jughead all the time and he utterly wished he was a chick so that he could "bitch slap" her.

He reached for his leather jacket and red flannel he used as a belt sometimes. He knew when he got to that party that it would become hell since Reggie obviously would be there and Veronica the encouraging type to get Jughead wasted. He steps up the white steps to Cheryl's house and he wanted to turn around as he saw Cheryl and Archie in a full blown make out session.

"Jug's!" Archie yelled reaching his hand out to shake Jughead's.

"I'm not shaking your hand after making out with Cherry Bombshell" Jughead gaged.

"Hobo" Cheryl rolled her eyes.

"Evil Queen how are you?" Jughead grinned at the ginger bitch Cheryl.

"Jones what's up?" V smiled hugging the mysterious boy.

"The usual" Jughead answered hugging Veronica back.

Those two were like brother and sister, always annoying each other and hanging out, everyone at school thought the two were dating but they both denied it with sick looks and gaging sounds. Veronica pulls the boy to the alcohol table where Jughead had some serious OCD and wanted to fix everything wrong with this table. And as Jughead excepted he got drunk and dancing with himself and his best friend red Solo cup.

"Do you think he'll be fine" Betty whispered to V.

"Of course, it's kind of good for him to let loose! We never see this Jughead, embrace it" Veronica giggled as Jughead danced more.

He felt like a warm feather dancing through the wind, he wanted to drink more often, he wanted to do this a lot but he knew he would never do this again. He'd probably drink around friend's he could trust to take care of him once he was 'wasted' and he would never let someone take him home unless it was V or Betty.

Maybe..

Okay! This is my first time writing third person stories, it's actually way better than I expected I thought I would suck at it but I'm actually proud of myself and I think it's good and fits way better with this fanfiction.
