Somewhere in USA ......
A middle aged author of Indian origin was walking alongside the footpath where a number of variety of flowers were kept for sale . Roses ,lillies, chrysanthemums , daisies , daffodils and what not . The author was overwhelmed by the colours and hues . Picking up a rose bouquet ,he asked the lady sitting there ,"how much is this one ?". "A dollar",she said ,her hands busy in whipping up another bouquet. He put his hand into his sidepocket expectantly but all he could get out of it was a pound . He put the bouquet down and turned around to go back to his inn . Slam! Something hit his face and when he examined it properly... It was a $10 bill . He went to the flowerseller again and this time brought a huge bouquet and pulled the most exquisite flower amidst them and threw it in up in the air thanking his luck.
In amaravati , heaven.....
Laksmi , saraswati and Parvati are sitting by a pond with their hands partially submerged in the water . Suddenly a exquisite flower comes floating to them . Saraswati said ," let's find out whom this came from ". She grabbed an iPad from nowhere. (I hope you didn't expect that !!!) And scanned the flower . "A doctor from USA and it's for you laksmi ". Laksmi took out and smelled it . She exclaimed " wow yar it smells so nice .But I'm sorry to see you guys don't receive gifts like I do ."
" Yeah . It's ok. But there are many people in the world who want me to grant them physical strength you know . ",Parvati said frostily .
" but what is the use of wealth or power if there is no knowledge ?" ,shot back saraswati .
"I can prove that wealth is the greatest ",said laksmi . " So can I prove that power is ", exclaimed Parvati. "I don't agree with both of you",said saraswati. So finally they decided to keep a competition to test their powers.
They had to bestow their power upon 3 mortals. The one who comes up in their life will be considered the best and the goddess most powerful .
Saraswati was scrolling through the profiles of different people . "Whom to choose.....",she thought . Finally she decided to choose a doc (doctor)from India .
She decided to transfer some of her power to him.
She became invisible and entered the clinic- cum -house . The doctor sat there in utter confusion. He was a young lad who had done his medical degree barely touching pass mark.
