Turn six -Machine Assault/Rematch Part 2

Yushida and Izunas duel continued. On Izuna's side he had The mighty barrel dragon, 2 facedown cards and in his hand a single card. On Yushida's side he held his dark blade, 2 facedown cards and a single card in his hand.... other than the power of their monsters and their life points all seemed rather equal in a sense.

Turn 5 (Izuna/Continued)

"Now my barrel dragon! I use your effect!" Three large coins were thrown in the air and then landed on the ground between them, two of the coins landed on the ground with heads and the other one tails. "Yes! Now I destroy your dark blade! Triple barrel shot!" Izuna's barrel dragon was about to fire its shots at yushidas dark blade.

"I activate my trap! Waboku!" Yushida called out as his card flipped face up, from the card appeared 3 people all wearing light blue robes and stood before yushida's darkblade, they stopped izuna's barrel dragons attack. "Thanks to my trap card waboku my monsters can't be destroyed by battle this turn and I take no damage either!"

Izuna growled in anger, he looked at the facedown cards he had and then activated one. "I play jar of greed! This lets me draw a new card!" Izuna drew his card and then placed it facedown. "I end my turn!" Izuna only held a single card in his hand.

Hideo was relieved. If Yushida did not have waboku then dark blade would have been destroyed and then yushida would have been attacked and lost the duel...but now he was dreading the next turn.

Turn 6(Yushida)

Yushida drew his card. He now held 2 cards in his hand however, due to the power of izuna's barrel dragon all he could hope to do really was stall, he looked at the card he drew. "I play White elephants gift! This lets me tribute my dark blade so I can draw two new cards!" Yushida's dark blade was sent to the graveyard and he drew his 2 cards from the deck, his hand already contained summoned skull but now he also had polymerization which could allow him to perform a fusion summon and forbidden lance that while it would make the monster effected by it immune to other effects that same card would also reduce the monsters attack power by 800. "First I play my spell card ancient rules!" His card flipped face up. "This lets me special summon one level five or higher normal monster. Appear summoned skull!" Yushida slammed the card on the blade of the duel disk and before him appeared his mighty monster which let out a loud demonic howl (Summoned skull LV6/ATK2500/DEF1200)

Izuna glared at yushida's new monster but then smirked slightly. "Powerful but not powerful enough!"

"I then play my quick play spell Forbidden lance! Now izuna while your monster may become immune to other spell and trap effects it does however lose 800 of its attack points!" A large lance appeared on the middle barrel of barrel dragon (Barrel Dragon ATK 2600 – 1800)

Izuna smirked and then he activated one of his facedown cards. "I play my card of last will! Since my monsters attack points were changed this lets me draw until I have 5 cards in my hand!" Izuna drew 4 new cards and now held 5 cards in his hand.

Yushida growled in anger and obvious frustration as he had now benefited izuna but he continued his move. "Now summoned skull attack his barrel dragon! Lightning strike!" Summoned skull roared and from its claws fired a beam of lightning which then struck izuna's barrel dragon and caused it to explode. (Izuna LP 4800 – 4100) "I set one more card and end my turn." Yushida set his last card but now his hand was empty.
