Chapter 38

Sunday, November 13th 8:00am
Camila woke up with the sun in her eyes, she squinted and attempted to wipe the coal from her eyes but failed when she couldn't move her arm. She looked down and smile instantly spread across her face she was met with beautiful porcelain skin.

She loved every bit of her from the messy hair to the tiny bit of drool at the corner of her mouth. She laid there admiring the young woman for a little bit longer until her own stomach started to growl.

She gently and quietly removed herself from under the sleeping beauty and into the bathroom to brush her teeth before heading silently downstairs.

She plugged her phone into the sound system and put it on a volume that wouldn't wake Lauren, she put it on shuffle and the first song to play was by Troye Sivan.

She began cooking breakfast and she was really into the song, dancing around the kitchen in her long t-shirt and short shorts, with her hair in a messy bun.

Lauren snuggled into the pillow, rubbing her hand across the sheets expecting to be met with the warmth of Camila but all she felt was cold.

She sat up and rubbed her eyes before looking around for any sign of the girl, then she picked up the scent of bacon and knew that she was downstairs.

She made her way into the bathroom to brush her teeth and freshen up, then headed downstairs. What she walked in on made her heart leap and a loving smile spread across her lips, showing all her teeth.

Camila was dancing around in her banana socks, belting out the words to 'Everybody Wanna Steal My Girl' by One Direction into the spatula with her eyes shut tight. She had pancake batter across her cheek but she didn't seem to notice or seem to care.

Lauren chuckled at the scene "I love you." It slipped passed her lips on accident and she meant it but that didn't stop her from blushing.

Camila turned to face the girl, who was leaning against the door frame with her arms crossed, when she heard her voice. It took a minute for her to process what just came from the girl's lips but when it registered butterflies swarmed her insides.

She pointed her finger at her chest before speaking, "Me? You love me?" Her eyes wide in shock and Lauren's face stalled in fear.

"Uhh- I- Yeah I love you." There was a second of silence before Lauren felt the need to fill it again "Look, you don't have to say it back. I just had to tell you how I felt and I-"

Before she could finish her sentence another body was wrapped around her like a koala, Camila looked her straight in the eye "You love me. Me. You love me." The woman placed her hand on the young girl's jaw rubbing her thumb against porcelain skin.

"I love you Lauren Jauregui." That caught the girl's attention.

"You do?" Camila nodded wildly before pulling Lauren into a strong kiss, the kiss became sloppy because they couldn't stop smiling. "I'm gonna go finish breakfast for you baby."

"Uhh I-" Camila cut her off because she knew what she was going to say.

"Babe please don't tell me that you're not gonna eat and that you have to go do your workout."

Lauren gave her a sympathetic smile and she couldn't bare the disappointed expression on her girl's face so she did what she could to turn it into a smile.

"Hey listen, all you've started is the bacon and a pancake how about you put all the stuff in the fridge, I'll go for my run and do my ab workout. Then you can finish making breakfast and you and I can sit down together and eat, yeah?" Lauren asked hopefully a small smile eased its way onto Camila's face.
