"I'm glad you texted me." Chase took a left on a street filled with people walking everywhere. It's pretty busy for a Tuesday night .

"I just thought it'd be good to get to know you better." I said placing a strand of hair behind of my ear.

Chase pulled over on the street and parked. I looked up at the big glowing sign reading Silky O'Sullivan's. It looked like a bar and kitchen.

"Are you ready?" Chase pulled the key out and climbed out. "Stay there." He said before closing the door to his truck.

I watched chase hustle around the truck to the passenger door. He then opened the it while placing his arm out motioning me to get out.

"Woah such a gentleman." I joked.

We walked into the Bar&Grill taking a seat at the bar. The bartender walked up to us asking what we would like.

"I just want a Miller Lite and then whatever she wants." Chase pulled out his wallet giving the bartender his credit card.

"Oh I'll just have a water." The bartender nodded his head and went on to get the drinks.

"No alcohol for you?" Chase turned around on the stool placing his arm down on the bar

"I thought I'd take a break from alcohol since we had a bad experience last time I had a lot of beer." I laughed. He smirked.

"You have a cute laugh." He pointed out. I blushed.

The bartender walked up and sat the drinks down in front of us handing chase back his card.

"This place is nice." I said sipping slowly on my water.

"Usually they have live music. It's a pretty fun place to come to on Saturdays. I've been here a couple times."

"Oh so this is where you bring all you girl flings then?" I sat my water down on a coaster and got up. "I bet you never danced with them tho."

I placed my hand out and he took it. I dragged him over to the juke box. I pulled out a quarter and put it in. I searched through the songs till I found the best one.

Total Eclipse Of The Heart.

As the song started to play he started laughing. "You have great taste."

I shrugged my shoulders and grinned. He then pulled me out onto the big empty wooden floor. Taking my hand in his and placing the other on my waist. Everyone in the bar was staring at us.

We swayed around the floor laughing and smiling. He twirled me in a circle then pulled me back into his chest.

"Thank you chase." I took my hand from his shoulder and placed it on his cheek. "I needed this."

I only needed it so I could forget about James.

In that moment chase leaned in closer. Soon our lips were touching. I grabbed his shirt pulling him in harder. He pulled my waist in.

Kissing him made me weak. I felt alive. I felt happy. Something I haven't felt in forever. He made all my pain.... go away.

I pulled away and smiled. So did he. Everyone in the bar clapped and whistled. I guess they were applauding young love.

"Come on let's go." Chase grabbed my hand and lead me outside to the car. He opened my door and I climbed in.

We left the bar and sped down the street towards a new destination.
