Chapter 3: Letting Go & Giving Up

I'm just gonna start and steal a quote that I'm sure 99.998% of the population knows, "If you love something, set it free. If it's meant to be, it will come back to you".

I just wanna say personally, that's a load of shit and a half. Karma could and possibly does exist, but not for any good reasons. Give a dollar, get two dollars back? Never happened for me. That's why I don't give money unless I see the benefit in-store for me right then and there. But this chapter ain't about karma, it's about letting go.

Yes, the hardest thing for many people around the world. Letting go. For some, it could mean stopping a bad habit. For others, it could be leaving a bad relationship. And on some off chance, it JUST MIGHT be going cold turkey and forgetting about your porno collection that calls to you every night.

(I have a lot to say so this may be two chapters)

For those who are suicidal, those who think "letting go" is to end their own life, please do not think that or even attempt it.

Let me say personally that does not say "letting go", for its really saying "I'm giving up" and that is something we DO NOT do around these parts.

We do not give up around here, we suck up our mistakes and we keep on going. Giving up is for politicians, giving up is for drug addicts who need a fourth or fifth trip to rehab. Giving up is saying "hey, you can do what you want with me".

GIVING UP < LETTING GO

Letting go is saying "I got the will power to ignore whatever the fuck I've been obsessed with".

Letting go is saying "I'm not safe, this person I'm with is toxic to my health and I will not take this anymore".

Letting go is saying "I can't try any harder, I'm only human".

Letting go is saying "I'm sorry that I wasn't good enough BY YOUR STANDARDS".

Letting go is saying "I'm going to leave my job because I know there's something better. And I don't know if or when I'll find something better. But I know it will be better than that job i just left".
