Kaia pulled in front of her house and sat there for a few moments trying to pull herself together. The drive home she did nothing but cry. She hated being so weak.

Zayn had just finished put Karim down for a nap. The twins were playing in their room with strict orders to play nice or watch the Disney movie he put in because he needed to work.  If they were good, he would take them to see Auntie Marian.  He walked into the kitchen to get himself a beer before going to his studio. He checked his phone to see if Kaia had texted, but he had nothing, so he felt free to paint.

Kaia got out of the car and didn't go inside immediately. She walked through the garden and when she got to the teepee she felt so angry. She threw her purse on the ground and began to untie the ropes that held it together. Yanking it to the ground. She had put it all in a pile as best as she could and then hurried to the garage. She found some lighter fluid and a lighter and rushed back to the now dismantled teepee. She poured the lighter fluid on it and lit it on fire.  She stood back and watched the flames rise and burn.

Zayn looked out the window and saw black smoke coming from the garden.  He set his beer down and rushed outside.  "Kaia, what the hell is going ?" He shouted as he watched her standing in front of the flames.

She spun around and saw her husband standing there looking very angry. "I...um..." she began and then burst into tears.

"What happened with Marian? I don't understand why you are out here burning.... is that the teepee?"

She looked at him and nodded. "I...I told her a secret I've kept from her for a really long time," she said. "One I've kept from you," she said and looked back at the flames. "I'm...I'm so angry for being so weak and...I'm terrified that I'm going to lose my best friend sooner than later," she said.

"Darling sometimes little secrets are okay to keep. No one is ever completely honest. I would never say you are weak, no one would. You are brave, brilliant and beautiful. Come have a spot of tea, that usually helps brighten your mood," he said grabbing for her hand.

She felt him take her hand and turned to face him. "But...but this is a big secret and...and I'm so ashamed of it," she said looking up at him.  "Telling Marian was so incredibly hard," she said. "And...and I need you to know as well."

"How did she take it?" He asked pulling her away from the fire as it seemed to be losing steam.  "You are I have been through hell and back and one secret won't crumble us."

She let him lead her into the house through her sunroom. "She...she was mad. Pissed I didn't tell her when it happened," she said. When they got to the kitchen he made her sit down. "And then she told me how much she loved me and that I can always go to her," she said. She grabbed his hand before he moved away to make her some tea. "I...I need you to know, Zayn," she said trying not to break down again.

"Marian has always loved you and tried to support you the best she can. Let me put the kettle on and you can tell me," he said.  "I swear to listen to you darling, I love you no matter what," he insisted.

Kaia chewed on her fingernails while she watched him make her tea. "I'm sorry about the teepee," she said.

"We were planning on remolding anyways remember." He said making her some of her favorite tea.  He grabbed his beer while he waited for the kettle. Kaia still chewing on her fingernails.  "Here you go, my little Morrocan princess," he said handing his wife her favorite coffee mug.

She couldn't help but blush at his comments as she took the mug from him. "I love it when you call me that," she said still blushing. "And I know, but I don't think we planned on me burning it to the ground." She sighed heavily.
