Chapter 4

"Dazai-san! Wait!" Atsushi called as he tried to stop Dazai from leaving the room. The said male was filled with rage and his blood was boiling.

"Get out of my way, Atsushi." Dazai said in a different tone with a death glare which made the weretiger flinch.

A firm hand rested on Dazai's shoulder. "Dazai, calm down. Let's find a more logical way to save him." Kunikida said and Dazai never looked at him. His fists were shaking at his sides.

"How...? You don't get it, Kunikida. That room where Chuuya is, he won't last the next few hours in there." Dazai said as calmly as he could but failed.

Gin was beside Dazai who could only agree with her superior. "Then you're not going there alone." Kunikida said and that caught Dazai's attention.

"Kunikida-san is right. Chuuya was your partner before you joined us, right?" Kevin asked and Dazai looked back at them with a shocked expression.

"Don't look at us like that. Even if you continually try to commit suicide, we're dtill your friends and we're all in this together." Atsushi said with a slight chuckle.

Dazai looked at them before slowly giving a laugh. They all looked at each other then at Dazai.

"Alright. But we have to be quick." Dazai said after recovering himself from laughing. The tension slowly subsided.

"What did I miss?" A feminine voice spoke from the door which caught everyone's attention.

At the doorway stands Yosano who just came back from shopping.

"We're going to do a rescue mission!" Kevin mused and Yosano raised a brow.

"Ranpo, what did you learn about the video?" Their leader asked and the detective gave a serious look.

"It's all true." Ranpo said and the tension in the room slowly rose again.

"Chuuya has been in that room for a day and was constantly getting tortured," He paused and looked at Gin. "By the Black Lizard." He said and they all looked at Gin who could only looked down in shame.

"I'll take care of that later." Dazai said, glancing at Gin.

"Who will come and infiltrate the Port Mafia's base with Dazai?" Junichiro asked.

"Atsushi, Kunikida, you will go with Dazai. Yosano, you will stay here. The rest of you will buy Dazai and his team some time to be able to get Chuuya." Fukuzawa stated and they all agreed.

"Gin. You'll come with us." Dazai stated and the said assassin looked up and nodded.

Fukuzawa called Dazai and the called male turned to him.

"Make sure to come back. We'll be needing an explanation." He said and Dazai gave a nod.
