Chapter 1:A strange accurance

CHAPTER 1
Rainpaw felt the cool air brush against her brown tabby pelt. She watched her clan mates wondered around the camp getting ready for dawn patrol.
"Are you coming or what?" PaleScar asked Rainpaw.
"Yes, of course." She replied.

MouseStar emerged behind Her scarring her slightly. "What is taking so long for the patrol to leave?" She demanded. "Erm... Sorry that's my fault, I wasn't ready early enough..." Rainpaw said muttering. "You aren't going to become a warrior if you can't be ready early enough to catch the dawn patrol!" MouseStar exclaimed, she frowned and followed PaleScar and the others out of the camp. It's not fair she thought to herself. They walked near the edge of their territory, RedFur stopped. "Twolegs!" He Yelled, Rainpaw and the others jumped back into a close bush. "I knew we were to close to the walking track!" BrokenEar retorted, Rainpaw says in silence as the twolegs walked past. RedFur Shot a glance at all the cats as a symbol to get out of the bush, they leaped out one by one. They continued to patrol with no further incidents leaving their afternoon pretty uneventful. As they returned to the camp Cherrypaw ran straight to Rainpaw, "Come quick I have something to show you!" She blurted, "Okay show me the way." Rainpaw said. Cherrypaw leaded Rainpaw behind the nursery, "look at this!" Rainpaw glanced at the ground, Rainpaw couldn't work out what it was, "so what is it exactly?" She questioned, Cherrypaw shifted closer too Rainpaw, "it seems to be a stone with a rain drop carved in it." "So this must be a message from StarClan. Right?" Rainpaw said unsure, her claws dug into the ground, "we need to tell MouseStar!" Rainpaw said bluntly. The two apprentices walk over to the leaders den, RedFur Stopped them "what do you think your doing?" He demanded "we need to speak to MouseStar! It's urgent." Cherrypaw flicked her tail towards the den, "Make it quick!" The Ginger deputy growled. The two apprentices entered her den with respect, "MouseStar! We have news for you!" Cherrypaw blurted out, "We think it's a sign from star clan!" Rainpaw added. "Sister Tell me what do have to say?" Flicking her small tail at Rainpaw, "Cherrypaw discovered a stone. But it's not an ordinary stone. There seems to be a raindrop carved into it." Rainpaw signalled Cherrypaw to give mousestar the stone. "Well I mean, it must be some sort of sign. Let the medicine cats know, And I'll tell you if I get any messages from star clan. Now leave you should be helping out the elders!" MouseStar said. "Yes MouseStar." The two said in sync. Leaving the den and returning to their duty's, MouseStar looked at the stone closely noticing the fact that this sign could be for her sister Rainpaw. "Thunderkit stop messing around!" BlackClaw Warned him. "Leave him alone, he's just having fun." GoldenFlower Said Calmly. Thunderkit padded over to the fresh kill pile and picked up a small mouse, and dropped it in front of GoldenFlower with a smile on his face.
"Why thank you Thunderkit." Goldenflower said politiley,
"no problem." Thunderkit squeaked bounding off to the nursery.
"Hey GoldenFlower!" Rainpaw said looking around the camp.
"What's up Rainpaw? Who are you looking for?" She asked.
"My sist-MouseStar." Rainpaw spoke with a stutter.
"Oh, I think she's talking to RedFur in her den." She said gracefully.
"Thanks!" Rain said as she bolted away, leaving Goldenflower confused. She padded up close to the den, she herd muttering. She went a bit closer to the den to see if she could hear better. "Rainpaw" was said making her bounce back. She decided to ask if she could enter to make it less suspicious if they caught her listening. She entered.
"I told you to help the elders what are you doing back here?" MouseStar said furiously.
"Well I guess now your here I might aswell tell you that the gathering is tonight and you, Cherrypaw, and Flamepaw are coming with Snowstorm,BlackClaw, RedFur and I. So I want you on your best behaviour!" She said in a respectful growl.
"Oh that's amazing! But I came here to tell you that FrozenLeaf is extremely ill."
Rainpaw said with a low tone. "Pebblenose is trying his best." She added.
"Well at least he is trying." MouseStar said softly.

The sun was setting, meaning the gathering was going to start soon. The cats got ready and began to leave. They walked closer and closer to the meeting place. As they turned up Rainpaw glanced at the other cats from RippleClan, her big green eyes met with Unusual MultiColoured eyes. These eyes belonged to Morningpaw a feisty apprentice from RippleClan. Rainpaw looked away hoping that Morningpaw didn't notice that she looked for too long. To Rainpaw's luck Morningpaw just turned baround and walked towards her clan. Rainpaw let out a sigh of relief.
