We didn't have time to think as the outline for the new tree house started to fall. I froze in my tracks, unable to move. That's when I felt a hand grab my wrist and start to pull me away. It was Cronan. I started to run and so did he. We got maybe a 25 yards away before a tower of dust blocked our vision and we tripped.

The dust cleared and I stood up. I was ok except that my heart was beating out of my chest. I looked over to find Cronan lying on a pile of stuff with a bucket on his head and green goo all over his head and shoulders. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Is everyone ok?" Naida asked.

"No," Cronan said in a tone of which I can only describe as ticked off. I immediately offered my hand to help him up, which he took. "Thank you" Cronan whispered in my ear, I could feel my cheeks getting red. I nodded in response.

"I'm gonna go clean up?" Cronan said and started walking off. Farren offered him one of his spare tunics but Cronan kept walking.

"He stole their bucket," I mumbled to myself as I watched Cronan disappear into the bushes.

"Sophie look at the mess you made," Emily scolded her sister.

"I-I didn't mean to, I was only trying to have some fun."

I didn't want to hear the rest. I always feel awkward when they fight, and I completely ignored my job of getting food. I brushed aside the same bushes Cronan did 5 seconds ago. Maybe after he cleans up we can get the food together and talk some more. He seemed mysterious and I want to know more about him. Plus, he's acted pretty nice so far and nice guys don't come around every day.

After walking for about one minute I spot a bush full of small purple berries and start to pick them. I just hope they aren't poisonous, I think to myself. I pick two more berries and head off to my left searching for some other kinds. I had been walking for a while with no luck. I was just about start walking another direction when I heard a scream for help somewhere to the right.

I started on a dead sprint in the direction the scream was. I saw there was brush ahead and slowed down to neil behind it. I reached my hands through the brush to get a better look without being spotted. It worked but my hands started to bleed a bit from the thorns. Through it I could see Sofie in a net extending from a red contraption. Below her Cronan stood with four goblins at his side.

" ...its exhausting being nice," Cronan told Sophie.

"You better let me go right now!" Sophie struggled in the net she was kept in.

"Ok so he traped her," I told myself in the bushes, " and I need to help her out. But how?" I looked at he base of the net. It was like a red wagon with a long pole connecting to the part sofie was in. "I could crawl to that bush over there, then army crawl to the contraption. I'll hit a button and hopefully that will release sofie." It wasn't the best plan ever, but it was worth a shot.

Slowly I attempted my plan. I had managed to get all the way to the invention and stand up when I saw Cronan turn to look at me. "Shoot," I said and took off sprinting in the opposite direction. I thought I might have a chance of getting away until a large green vine sprouted from a tree, wrapped around me and lifted me up in the air so I couldn't get away.

All of a sudden the vine whipped turned me around leaving my face 6 inches from Cronans. I saw him smirk through the strands of my hair that fell in front of my face.

"We can't have you getting away now, can we?" He snickered. Making me shutter.

"What are you even going to do?" I asked him.

He smiled at me, which made me shiver. "Goblins!" He shouted and they all started to get ready to leave. Cronan took two steps back and then used his earth magic to lift me up and set me in the net beside Sofie. The Vine broke off leaving me still tied up and we started to go.
