[I recently got into Drag Race. 😄]

“So what’s this show called again?” Taehyung asked as he watched Namjoon flip through various, commercial-filled channels on the T.V.

The members were currently lying around their hotel living area-- mentally exhausted after having just gotten back from another, excruciatingly awkward, American interview.

“It’s called Ru Paul’s Drag Race.” Namjoon said as he finally found the channel he was looking for. “A friend of mine suggested that we watch this because of the amazing performances that the drag queens put on. So I thought it would be good for all of us to watch this, and to take notes on things that could help us in the future. Plus, it’s easier to access it here than back home in Korea.”

“Oh...that reminds me of grade school.” Taehyung said as he watched an ad for Coca-Cola play across the screen, oblivious to the six pairs of questioning eyes.

“Why?” Jungkook asked slowly, slightly fearful of the answer he might receive.

“Because my class had a drag show and I won.”

Silence clouded the room. While no one was majorly surprised at Taehyung’s confession, it was still a bit to take in considering that a grade school in Korea would allow a competition like that.

“Wait a minute,” Yoongi blurted, clearing the subtle silence and conversation topic, “is this entire show going to be in English?”

Questions of agreement and small whines of frustration joined alongside Yoongi’s own growing frustration.

“Calm down,” Najmoon said as he brushed his hand through his own black locks. “From what I've heard, the drag queens get straight to the point. So all of you should be able to understand more or less of what they're saying. But I'll also fill you in during the commercial breaks.”

A soft, “My hero,” was then heard from across the room.

But before anyone could pin it onto Jimin, Jin was hushing everyone and snuggling into Namjoon's side as the show began to play. "Hush, my children! I am intrigued."

By the time the show ended with the remaining queens dancing and celebrating on stage, each member in the living room had their mouths hanging open.

“That was pretty cool.”

“That's dedication.”

“They dance so well…”

“Did they really create those outfits?”

“Lip syncing is so hard, and they made it look so easy…”

“Do they really do their own make up?”

“Honey, I feel threatened.”
