Your POV
I groggily wake up and hear cheering. I felt someone place something on me. I look up and see guards placing armor on my body. I quickly get up and punch them. However I was outnumbered and they held me down.
I struggle and look around. I notice I'm in a small cave like cage again. I am picked up and shoved forward. I look forward and see a large gate. Past it is a huge arena. Way larger than the one I was in before.
"No! NO!! Not again!!!!" I yell.
Weapons filled the walls, they were my choices of defense. I turn around and see a cell wall covering my exit. The guards stand past it and lock the door. I take a shaky breath and look at the wall.
I pick up a crossbow and a pack of at least 30 arrows. I also grab a flail and battle axe. I put the axe on my belt and load up the crossbow. I put the crossbow in my left hand and the flail in my right. I notice a button on the handle of the flail and I press it. The ball drops as the chain grows longer. I press the button again and it retracts.
"Good to know" I mutter to myself before the large gate opens.
I sigh before walking out into the middle of the arena. I look up and around and notice the entire kingdom in the stands up above me. I pause in the middle of the Arena and glare up at the stands. The crowd goes silent. There he sits,
The king.
"What do you want with me?!" I yell up at him.
"You were the one who murdered the guard yes?" He asks.
"It wasn't my consciousness but yes you could say that" I snarl at him.
"That guard, was my son. He was preparing to become a strong knight and king." He spits out in anger.
Sweat begins to drip down my face. Why did it have to be him.
"I'm sorry about your loss but that was not me who did it!! I was under control!!" I yell up at him.
"It doesn't matter!! It was still you who did it!!! You still have to pay" He says. "Let's begin"
(Play the song)
The crowd began to slowly start to sing.
"Hello, hello, hello
how low?
hello, hello, hello
how low?"
It grew louder the more they sang. A bell rang out throughout the stadium.
"With the lights out,
it's less dangerous
Here we are now,
entertain us
I feel stupid,
and contagious
Here we are now,
entertain us" the crowd began to sing loudly.
"Hello, hello, hello
how low?
hello, hello, hello
how low?" I notice the king slightly singing with them.
"And I forget just why
I taste. Oh yeah, I guess, it makes
me smile.I found it hard, its hard
to find.Oh well, whatever, nevermind" the king sings slightly with the crowd.
"Hello, hello, hello
how low?
hello, hello, hello
how low?" The king laughs dangerously.
"With the lights out,
it's less dangerous
Here we are now,
entertain us!!!" The king stands up and sings to the crowd. He slams his staff on the floor to create depth and a beat.
He points down at me and the gates around me opened. I notice many large scary creatures walking out.
"I feel stupid,
and contagious
Here we are now,
entertain us!!!!!" They sing as the creatures began to slowly crowd around me.
I press the button on the flail and the ball drops. I pick it up and began swinging it to my side. It gained momentum and the first creature ran at me. I quickly swing the flail at it as hard as I could. The spiked ball smashed the creatures face in and its blood splattered everywhere.
One by one the creatures ran at me. I swung the flail up and slammed it down onto a creatures head. I shot another one with the crossbow in my hand. I whip around and swing the flail at another creature.
They all stop and circle around me while growling. I smirk at all of them. I point my crossbow at the King.
"Try me!!"
