It was the first day of the school year, and the corridors of Hyun High buzzed with the chatter of excited students. New faces, fresh uniforms, the smell of ink on freshly printed textbooks everything was lined up perfectly, as if the universe had planned it that way. But for Ni-ki, president of the student council, the rhythm of school life was a constant. Nothing about it was new, nothing ever surprised him.

He walked down the hallway with the poise of someone who had mastered the art of being unapproachable. His dark eyes scanned the surroundings with a detached coolness. Every student’s gaze shifted when he passed by, a mixture of admiration, fear, and respect. His presence, though silent, was commanding. He was the embodiment of order disciplined, focused, always in control.

That’s how Ni-ki liked it.

His carefully constructed world of perfection, where things made sense and followed the rules, had always been his refuge. His grades, his leadership, his image all meticulously managed to avoid the chaos of emotion. It was simple: follow the rules, avoid attachments, and keep moving forward.

But the universe, it seemed, had other plans.

Celine.

The name echoed in his mind like an unsolved puzzle.

She was the polar opposite of everything Ni-ki stood for. The girl who didn’t care about the rules, who refused to fit into any mold, whose laughter filled the air even when others shushed her for skipping class. She wore defiance like a second skin free, unafraid, and unapologetically herself. Celine was everything Ni-ki had spent years learning to avoid. And, perhaps that’s why he couldn’t stop watching her.

It all started that afternoon when she stormed into the student council office a whirlwind of disarray and energy flipping her hair and giving Ni-ki that look. That reckless, almost playful look that said, *I’m not here to follow anyone’s rules*.

She didn’t know it yet, but she would challenge everything he believed in. The rules, the control, his emotional boundaries everything.

Ni-ki didn’t understand it at the time, but something about Celine’s fire stirred the quiet storm inside him. Something about her unpredictability drew him in, slowly unraveling the perfect world he had built around himself. Her very existence was like a whisper in his heart soft but persistent, urging him to question everything he thought he knew about life… and love.

For Celine, though, it was simpler. She had no interest in the order Ni-ki fought so hard to maintain. She lived for the moments between the chaos, the freedom of being untethered, unbound, and unafraid of consequences. School was a battlefield, and she was always the rebel on the front lines. She didn’t care about reputation, status, or following the rules. But when she crossed paths with the perfect, unyielding student president, she found herself suddenly caught in a conflict she didn’t expect: the war between freedom and control, rebellion and order, and, perhaps, something deeper she wasn’t yet ready to admit.

Ni-ki wanted her to conform. Celine wanted to tear down the walls he so carefully built around himself. And the more they clashed, the more undeniable it became: there was something between them something they couldn’t quite understand, something neither of them wanted to admit.

As the year began, neither of them knew that their story was about to unfold in the most unexpected way. In a school full of rules and rebellion, they would find each other at the center of it all, caught between hearts that whispered secrets no one else could hear.

And in the quiet moments between their fights and misunderstandings, between the chaos of their lives, a deeper connection was growing one that neither Ni-ki nor Celine could escape.

A connection that would ultimately change everything.
