CHAPTER 4

The time was flying fast as usual. Workload was also heavy as regards approaching  end of the financial year. I was determined to learn more from my boss regarding my work so was spending most of my time in my office.

Mom and dad were also worried for me as i was working almost double from my  original capacity. Although my dad was proud of me as we were in almost same profession but being a dad he always had this caring side of me and so he is worried and tensed.

Actually i was enjoying all their attention otherwise they dont pamper me so much.

Rhea was also busy in his work and thus making tremendous amount of designs and i definitely want to try some of these designs. Being best friends with talented people obviously has some benefits . I dont know why and how we became so much close but i am glad that she never left my side otherwise i cant even imagine my life without her.

After my hectic schedule got over i thought of taking leave for some days to just relax .  I was sitting with my mom one afternoon  as we were having lunch suddenly namrata aunti called my mom and they started talking .
I was aware of the fact that it has to be related something regarding me seeing that guy.

In the evening my mom came in my room as i was watching  netflix.
"Kritika beta aunti has called earlier and said that they ware  coming to meet  us  this sunday ". " So i am thinking that we should call them for lunch as they will be staying in a hotel they have already booked"

To which i said" Mom so much have happened and you are telling me now.  Today is friday already and i dont even have decided my clothes my makeup"
Mom started blushing after hearing that and said " You are really interested in marriage thing i will do everything kiddo dont u worry"
To which i rolled my eyes "Mom i didnt meant that and if you are going to tease me like that i am not doing anything"
"Sorry  baby 😂" and she started laughing.

I have to do so much in such short span of time   i have to call rhea afterall she is my saviour.
I called her and told everything and she was beyond happy and excited for me and even started imagining him  and then we thought of going for shopping as i decided to were something traditional.  We decided to meet in an hour to go for shopping.

I was feeling beyond nervous and excited at the same time so many things were their in my mind but i did'nt have the audacity to ask  my mom even the name of the guy.  It was very overwhelming for me. So finally I thought of talking to Rhea as she is always aware of how to deal with me and my emotions.

I was actually happy and anxious to meet him as I also have plans to start a family and have someone for you whom you look up to and care for you.

I wanted a love marriage since I was a little girl playing with dolls but things turned really awful that I m Even scared of sharing my emotions with someone .

"Kritika" are you even their??? asked Rhea as I was zoned out and was at her house.

I finally came back to reality as u don't want my past to be haunting me again . with so much difficulty I have started my life and finally something good is atleast happening I won't let anything and anyone affect it.

I told Rhea everything until now about him( I don't even know his name) and she was beyond excited and here I m nervous as hell although I m excited too but things are so fast paced right now I don't even know how to deal with it anymore.

"Look we are straight going for shopping and I am not taking no as your answer I have to doll you up so that he goes crazy and you need pampering also and your nails and hair done so hurry up babe we are going right now" said Rhea and she was damn right so we thought of starting quickly after getting something to eat.

We firstly went to the salon for my hair and my nails. I thought of giving a fresh look and decided to have highlights done as I wanted to look good and beautiful maybe.

"Kritika you look really good and I bet that guy will be drooling and will not stop looking at you. You look absolutely amazing and drop dead gorgeous"said Rhea. I finally feel confident about my decision and its always been like that when she approves of something I feel much more confident . She is my rock.

After that we went for shopping as to what should I wear and that will be my final touch to all the preparations and the salon session but this had to be done so  we started looking at various stores and Rhea was making me try too many dresses and I was damn tired .

I had actually thought of wearing something traditional not because my mom has insisted on that desperately but I wanted to wear it myself as it always looked graceful ,feminine and elegant at the same time. Suddenly I received a text from my mom asking where I am and how much Time will it take for us to reach home and I was blank as the most important thing was remaining so I didn't replied as she will also be worried then.
