Hey everyone! I know long time no see! I'm sorry I haven't been regular with updates and what not and there is no excuse except from school and laziness. I hope you can forgive me. I am hoping to make a comeback with this new book that i've been planning for ages! I've been planning this for about 5 months now so I hope it's okay. I've decided that My Heart Chained To The Thirsty is going on a break for awhile. Do you get that feeling when you feel as though the book isn't going anywhere and it's falling apart. That's what I feel like towards my previous book. I won't quit the book completely just until i get an amazing idea that I NEED to write about. I've had the longest writers block. I am a little rusty but I tried my hardest! I feel very positive towards this book and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

"Thanks Mrs Goldstein." Aria said as she strode past the desk without making any further nuisance of herself. Mrs Goldstein glared at Aria through her black rimmed glasses shaking her head in disgust. Aria gave her a heartfelt smile to apologise for the extra two hours she'd spent in the library. Mrs Goldstein reorganised the papers on the desk making sure they were straight and not crooked. Perfection was key. "Y'know I think kids these days forget that old people have a life too." She mumbled but it was loud enough for Ari to hear. "You spend too much of your time in the library."
Mrs Goldstein was a close family friend, her daughter went to school with Laura, Aria's mother. Mrs Goldstein only worked in the library a few hours a day but with Aria's help, it was always two hours extra. She'd always been so kind but a little cranky. She helped Aria choose books in the library by sharing her knowledge which Ari was always interested in, and she was quite the expert at picking out cute guys.
Mrs Goldstein was right Aria did spend too much time in the library. Mrs Goldstein switched off the main lights and flipped the 'open' sign to 'closed' and hurried Aria out of the library door. "Come along child it's late." She mumbled to herself as she tried to find the right keys to lock the door. Secretly Aria believed that Mrs Goldstein enjoyed the company because the only other person she saw was her daughter Iris. Her husband died four years ago. It was only two years ago she got back on her feet. Iris decided she wanted her mother to be active and part of the community again, that's how she ended up working in the library.
Mrs Goldstein had finally managed to lock the door but not without using words that Aria dared to repeat. "Right Iris says she will pick me up in ten minutes. About time Iris visited me I haven't seen my granddaughter Violet in a long time. She's the same age as you y'know." Aria smiled mainly because the name Violet was so interesring considering her mothers name was Iris. Suddenly Aria's phone pinged and Sam's name popped up on the screen along with a picture of them sharing a smoothie laughing.
Hey shorty, coming 2 pick u up soon :) 10 mins maximum.......<3
Sam was Aria's best friend they'd been friends since they were 6 years old. Aria rememberd them both making mud pies and daring eachother to eat them. Nothing much had changed between them since they were 6, their friendship was still as strong as it always had been. Sam and Aria had awkwardly dated once, they both agreed it was just a faze, although the kiss as Ari remembered was incredible. That happened 2 years ago, and they'd both gotten past that stage and agreed to just be friends.
Hey! First don't call me shorty, 5'0 being small is fun!! Plus, Hurry!! IT'S COLD! <3
Aria smirked at the message she'd just sent Sam. He always called her shorty it was kind of a pet name. It didn't really have any true meaning except from the fact that she was short. Just as Aria looked up from her phone she saw a black lexus is250 pull up on the sidewalk. It had blacked out windows and silver rimmed wheels. The blacked out window rolled down slowly revealing Mrs Goldstein's daughter Iris.
