They both understand and know understand how important their mums are in the others life with jody she's said all she wants is for things to be good with her and her mum she loves her mum and is just missing that love she wants to feel from her mother and tyler knows that which is why he was quick to point it out to Alex and sasha during the episode saved by the bell when jody had ran away and sasha had told them jody had been seeing her mum in secret he's both concerned and scared for her because he's seen how her family has effected jody through the years.
But he also understands why she has gone back to her mum because she does love her mum and that's what she's wanted from her mum in return.
With Tyler and Jody
Jody knows Tyler's mum is the most important person to him (apart from herself 😘)
Jody's grown to be more considerate and understanding with Tyler and his mum because of Tyler worrying about possibly having bipolar like her in the future
They are both their for eachother during those family moments that they go through and that's strength for both of them.
