harry's p.o.v.

she left me with the biggest smile on my face. i can't believe it, it's almost too good to be true. maybe this all happened just so i could write sign of the times.

once i realise i've been standing in the middle of this big room all by myself for a good ten minutes, i shake away my thoughts and walk back into where everyone else is.

"hey, where ya been mate?" alex pipes up.

"yeah, you've been gone a while." says jeffrey.

"and you seem happier too." jeff adds.

"who was that girl?" mitch chimes in.

"a girl?!" everyone asks at the same time as i awkwardly make my way across the room. all eyes on me at this point.

"enough with the questions! they'll be answered in due time." i state whilst grabbing a water bottle out of the mini fridge in the corner.

"mitch, who's this chick you're talking about?" jeffrey turns to mitch with his arms crossed.

"i just walked into the choir room to see harry here hugging some girl really tightly. nothing more." i roll my eyes as i sink into the couch next to him. thanks for telling all mate.

"harry, please explain." jeffrey looks pissed now.

"maybe i don't want to explain quite just yet. maybe i want to enjoy something before you go ahead and stick your nose all in it. just because you're my manager doesn't mean i have to tell you everything. you manage my career, not my life." i snap, and i never do that. i'm usually an easy going guy but anna is special to me and i don't want jeffrey ruining this. "i'm done for the day. i'll see you all back at the villa later." i grab my phone, wallet, keys, and my now half drunken water bottle from the coffee table and walk out the door leaving everyone in the room a bit stunned.

every thing seemed brighter on my way home. the trees, the flowers, the water, my mood. everything was changing and it was a new day. it's about noonish, so i stop by a deli and pick up a couple sandwiches. i also popped into a flower shop and got a bouquet for anna and then made my way homeward bound.

i parked my bike and then ran towards anna's house and banged on the door with flowers and sandwiches in hand. the door opened to reveal anna in some long, tight, denim shorts and a yellow tee shirt. her hair was being blown by the breeze coming from outside and single strand fell onto her pretty face so i tucked it behind her ear.

"hey." she smiled. "i thought you were gonna be in the studio all day!" she exclaimed as she pulled me inside by my hand and kicked the door close.

"jeff was making me mad so i thought i'd spend my time someplace much more important." i smirk.

"jeff your producer or jeff your manager? i always get them confused." she asks as she looks up at me from our hugging position.

"my manager. he's just trying to pry into my private life, that's all." i say as i hand her the bouquet of flowers. "for you, my lady." i bow and present them to her and she takes them from my grasp.

"pink alstroemerias!! my favorite! how did you know?" she smiled as she ran into the kitchen and reached for a vase.

seeing her struggle to reach, in the state of her being 5 foot 2, i strode over and grabbed the piece of green glass from the top shelf and put it on the counter in front of her. "i guess i just know you that well." i winked. "actually, i had no clue. i just thought they were very pretty." i said as i straightened up and shrugged my shoulders.

"you're too sweet harry. thank you very much." and with that she reached up on her tip toes and kissed my cheek. "also, i really hope one of those sandwiches is for me." she whispered into my ear.

"oh wow! how did you guess? you must be some kind of prodigy!" i exclaimed, exaggerating my words.

"just give me the sandwich you goob." we both belly laughed and then she took the bag right from my hand.

"oh shoot, i should've gotten one for lacie. i'm sorry, i'm so inconsiderate." i mentally slapped myself and then physically.

"harry, don't worry about it. she's not even here, she's out exploring the town." she explained.

"oohh, that would explain the lack of noise." she gasped and smacked my arm.

"speaking of lack of noise, i need to turn on some music. it's too quiet in here." i watched as she made her way over to the speaker by the tv and turned it on. she connected her phone and a song began to play.

"are you, by any chance, available tomorrow?" i lean on the counter as i watch her saunter back over to the kitchen and opening the refrigerator door.

"i don't know. i might be going out with this really handsome guy who asked me out this morning." she peaked her head around from the fridge.

"aw darn, he beat me to it then." i frowned.

"but maybe i can squeeze you in somewhere." she winked as she grabbed two drinks, some grapes, and walked to the outside patio.

i grabbed the sandwiches and some plates and followed her out. "anyways, i was thinking of just making a day of it so i'd suggest to be ready by 9 am. bring you're bathing suit, even though you might not need it."

"am i aloud to know what it is we will be doing?" she asked as she leaned back and propped her foot on the chair.

"nope." i said as i gave her smug look and popped a grape in my mouth. "but, i can tell you that it will be very fun and you'll like it very much." i smile and she smiles back.

what is this girl doing to me?
