Felicity couldn't take it any longer, she'd had enough. As tears poured down her cheeks freely, she began to think of all the events of her life, and there never was a single memory that brought happiness to her, all pain, pain and more pain. Even though she was used to it by now, in public she pretended she was fine, but she was far from it.
Two years, she met her first love - and never since has she been able to get over him. After six months of dating, she found him in bed with another girl and felt her heart break into a thousand pieces as she saw them in front of her, suddenly stopping as the realisation hit them that they had been caught, but not just only had he cheated - he'd cheated with her best friend, the one person she told everything. She thought she could trust her. Now she had nobody..
After a few months, she managed to regain friendship with him as he obviously felt bad as to stay with her while she was mad at it all, knowing that he was always there for her still. She was more mad at herself - for not getting over him, and she didnt want to get hurt again, so she hid all of her feelings that were still lurking.
In time, he had met somebody else, and they were now engaged. She was invited to their wedding, but she kindly refused, as she knew if she was anywhere near there, she would end up crashing the wedding out of pure selfishness. It tore her apart even more, but she knew there was nothing she could do. There was nothing anybody could do.
Everything was so perfect, and all of a sudden it fucks up, and you're left with nothing. She looked at her newly scarred wrists tiredly, watching the blood drip to the floor silently in her apartment, her sobs silent. She couldn't feel any pain of the cuts - her body was entirely numb with pain (emotionally and physically.)
She looked at the empty medication bottle; which she had just downed them all without any second thoughts. Whenever she tried to talk to a counsellor, they all told her she needed to be stronger, but what they didn't realise was that she was trying her hardest, but in time she was becoming weaker.
She tried to make friends at her college, and when they felt sorry for her, she instantly found them backstabbing her even though they promised to help - She didn't want sympathy, she just wanted all the pain to suddenly disappear, but it seemed to get worse.
After a while, her body became limp and her eyes slowly battered shut.
