Angelica couldn't help but smile to herself when she thought back to the conversation. It was short lived, but it felt like it could have lasted hours. She wasn't the type to fantasize but Alexander managed to get under her skin in a way she never thought possible. She wrapped her hands against one of her textbooks as she made it towards the dorms where her room was located. She fumbled as she juggled between carrying her books and trying to find her dorm key in her bag.

"Come on, come on. Angelica just your luck to put your key at the very bottom of your bag." She muttered to herself in a bitter manner to her own bad luck.

"Angelica."

A voice came out of nowhere. She jumped, startled dropping her book on the ground. The figure who spoke knelt down quickly as he picked up her book for her. He had a cloth to his mouth to cover up a small cough. It was a man with carob skin and a thick black buzz cut. He was in a navy blue sweater over a white collared shirt and a pair of tan colored slacks. Definitely a familiar face.

"My apologizes." James Madison said as he stood up and offered out the book again.

"Damn you, James. You don't just sneak up on a girl like that." She sighed deeply as she fixed her posture. Since she had her hands now, she took the opportunity to grab onto her dorm key before taking the textbook from his hands. "What are you doing here anyways?"

"I was-" He coughed into his handkerchief once more. She found it a little funny that he still carried that around, but she didn't question it. "I was wondering if you've seen Thomas?"

"As in Jefferson?" Puzzled to the question she answered truthfully. "No. Not since yesterday. I thought he was sick."

"I thought so too. He texted me saying he wasn't feeling so good. You see, he went to a college party last night. Naturally I decided to sleep in for the night. But when I woke up this morning he wasn't in his bed."

She found that odd. Thomas and James were roommates, more like best friends, close partners, like brothers almost. Almost. If one wasn't with the other, something was wrong.

James had a worried look on his face which made her have traces of concern. "I tried texting him again, but he hasn't replied. I thought maybe you knew something."

"Why would I know anything?"

"I've seen him talk to you."

"If you call flirtation, talking." She dismissed those snapshot of moments to address him once more. "But no. I don't know where he is. I'll keep a look out though. Do you know which party he went to?"

"The Reynolds dorm."

Angelica made a little sound of disgust at the name. James Reynolds is the man who somehow persuaded chief executive (King) George to allow his wife to share a dorm room with him. Maria married James six months ago. She always seemed a little sad though, but Angie never knew why. "Why did Thomas think that was a good idea?"

James shrugged. "He went for the Mac n Cheese."

Angelica rolled her eyes with a scoff following soon after. "Of course he did." The Schuyler sister pushed in her card through the slot so the door could opened. Once it did she turned back to James. "Well if I see him around, I'll let you know."

"Thank you. I appreciate that." He tipped his head before taking off.
Angelica stepped into her room, withdrew the key out of the slot, and closed the door behind her. She breathed in the quiet for a second and frowned. God, how she hated the quiet. She inspected the room seeing how Eliza's bed was done, Peggy's was too, and so was hers. She smiled sweetly. "Whatever am I going to do with you, Eliza?"
