Jets rewritten (original by Noble of Lost Pause)

I tried

It takes years of training, dedication, hard work, and most of all guts. These five friends (that includes a brother) went through all of that together. It was Ron, Jason, Noble, Justin, and Ryan. These men became fighter pilots, but some lying and false documentation had to be done.
Justin and Noble are brothers, and the military doesn't allow family to be on the same squad as one another. They did it anyways, not wanting to be separated.
Their superior officer was a man sized chicken. This sight was unusual, but it was something the group had to get over. The chicken likes to be called, "Boss Chicken" (whatever floats his boat). Boss hid jets around their safe house, just in case of an attack.
Jason and Ryan sat on the couch, watching reruns of old cartoons. Suddenly the news cut on for no reason. Just then, Justin walked in with freshly made popcorn.
Justin opened his mouth, "Alright, who turned to the-" just then Ron came in. Justin suddenly stopped talking.
Noble waltzed in, "Oh boy! I love the news. Let's watch it." Justin held his hand in front of his brother. Something wasn't right around here.
The news anchor's voice came in, "In recent news, all the houses and business in Shots Fiyerd city, except for one, has been destroyed. The culprits were several non-military jets" This was a form of threat from the enemy, letting the squad know what could happen to them.
Boss came in and sarcastically said, "We have some great news. A jet blew up the whole city, except this house!"
"We heard." said Noble. The squad jumped into action, running outside, jumping in their appointed jets, and taking off. Five enemies were in the sky. As soon as the squad had the planes in their sights, they fired, knocking the count to three.
An enemy was right behind Ryan, "Get off my tail!" He exclaimed. Jason saw this and wiped out the jet. Noble looked over at his brother, also being followed by an enemy. Noble did the same as Jason, and shot down the enemy.
One more jet left, this one was chasing Ron. But Ron had this, he flew toward a narrow gap between two mountains. At the last second, he rotated his plane and passed by, but the chaser wasn't quick enough. Noble saw Ron's work and the big explosion.
"So nice of you to drop in." said Noble
"Ha ha. Very funny" responded Ron. The squad flew back toward the base, some small talk was had.
Noble interrupted everyone's conversation before they landed, "Wait, aren't we forgetting something?" Just then a jet flew over head. It was an evil Boss. "I'm glad it's nothing worse. Fire at will" said Noble. Everyone flew in different configurations and shot down evil Boss.
Now that they were finished, they landed. The real Boss came outside, "Good work boys!"
Out of no where, they woke up. Worried, they looked outside, their jets were fine, but Boss was flying away.
They all relaxed on the couch. Ron with a confused look asked Noble, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah." said Noble
"Ok" said Ron awkwardly
The group sighed as a whole said, "What a great adventure."
