Chapter 1

"Father please racing is my life" I sob hoping my Father will change his mind and let me race " Dakota will u ever stop, ur never allowed to race it's too dangerous " father says sternly and. crosses his arms "but.." "no buts Dakota" he says and walks out of the door. I put on my phone and put the music on and start listening to my favorite song, Juliet by Lawson. I dance around and sing at the top of my lungs "Nobody does it like Juliet, Juliet what u do to me the way she does it is crimina......" I get disturbed by a knock on the door. "come in" I say and the door opens to reveal my mom " u have to go feed the horses and train Legand" mom says "oh yea" I say and get my riding boots on and run down the stairs and out the front door towards the stables. I feed my moms horse dancing doll. She is a beautiful Appaloosa horse. I pat her head but I notice her gone really big, so I open the stall door " what's wrong with u girl?" I say quietly as I touch her stomach. then I realize. OMG SHE IS GONNA HAVE A FOAL. I wonder who the dad is, oh it could be Fire Launcher he is another horse of mine, he is chestnut but looks red or like fire so I had to name him something to do with fire. After I feed the horses I tack up Legand and walk him into the cross country track or field. It could also be a one horse race track cause there is no jumps around the edges of the field. I look around to see my dad watching me, I mount onto Legand and kick his sides until he starts to canter I ride him through every jump. when I finish I look to see if my dad is still watching. he is not. I position Legand at the edge of the girls. I kick his sides and he gallops, the sound of the hooves hot the ground make me feel free. Legand goes faster and faster, we near the fence and I slow him down. "I don't think I have seen a house go that fast before" I hear a males
