Be careful

A pathetic evening

A brief description:

This happened, when I was a teenager and I wanted to go to an important party but my dad tried his best to be an obstacle because he had to drop me, as he was lethargic. The party was so important to me because we all friends were gathering after a very long time.

My miserable evening:

That day I was so excited as the sun rises. It seems to me that the struck of the clock is very lazy today. With a lots of hope, I entered my father's room. He was reading a newspaper. As he found me standing beside him, he got already that I have something to ask. " Dad I want a favour from your side. I'm willing to go to my friend's party. We are going to enjoy alot over there. Please allow me to go". I never knew the same time, my father was planning excuses in his mind. " Darling, I wish I could, but coincidently, guests are coming to our home today and you should stay at home to help your mother in kitchen", he said. I tried my best to convince him but I failed......I made a phone call to my friends and informed that I won't come to their party because of an important gathering that was going to be held at my home. The whole day, I strived my mother in kitchen and waited for the guests. At the end of all chores,  as we were very tired sitting in lounge and watching television, my father came and declared that the guests are not coming because their car is out of order....
