The zephyr caressed her wet face
Gently sweeping the dark curls off her face
Her hands instantaneously reached her face
Placing her hair into a ponytail
She turned around
The breeze whispering soft, delicate sentiments into her ear
A smile curled from the corners of her mouth
Another tear danced down her cheek
That familiar face was before her Knowing eyes held her gaze.
A feeling of doubt struck her,
Eyes to the floor,
Too scared her feet began to make their own way,
Wheeling her body along.
Then she heard her name,
A smile spreading across the lips of that familiar face.
Certainty began to overwhelm her,
As she noticed that chipped incisor.
The face came closer,
Soon it was inches before hers,
Her body was then wrapped into a warm embrace.
A sigh of relief escaped her.
Another smile, another tear,
Time pieces finally matched,
A puzzle finally solved,
Everything meshed.
Yet still she could not believe it,
Maybe because it was merely a daydream.
