Pen Your Pride- My school pride

Hi! I'm Kat. I'm not gonna give my full name because that's unnecessary and unsafe. I'm bicurious. I have friends who are bi and ace and gay(?lesbian-isnt-an-adjective-is-it?). One of my ace friends is also aromantic. I wanted to help the cause so I wrote this. I wanted to brag a little on my school while I'm here. I can list off at least nine people in my school that are out. I have not once heard them say anything about getting any flack for it. In fact, one of the most popular guys in our school is out and very obviously gay. Not because of stereotype, just, when you see him for the first time your gay-dar just goes off immediately. We have a quite obvious lesbian couple who are cute(and-my-friends) and no one, not even my teachers who are very christian country people. I wish every school was as accepting as ours. We like to joke about how our school is the high school whereas our surrounding schools are the aggressive drug dealers. We over her just chillin, nothing fazing us. Hardly and bullying if at all. Don't get me wrong the schoolwork sucks and there are quite a few teachers we all hate (coughGingerJohnsoncough) but everywhere else we put up with no crap and chill. But yea if we get aggravated the boys start a fistfight and the girls start yelling, but that only happens maybe twice a year on average, maybe less. That's all! Love ya!
