Change

I was just your normal college student. I had a good GPA and i worked hard in all my classes. I went parties every now and then. Then everything began to change, and before i knew it my life began to swirl down the drain.

I tugged at the bottom of my black dress, it was a little shorter than my usual dresses but all my friends insisted i looked amazing in it and i eventually gave in and bought it. It went down to about the middle of my thighs and hugged my curves perfectly, it had three quarter sleeves and a scoop neck. My dark brown hair was curled and my bright blue eyes were outlined perfectly in eyeliner.

"Kalani! You came!" my friend Ashton yelled over the loud music of the party.

"I wasn't going to miss your birthday party!" i yelled back as i ran over to him and hugged him.

He handed me a drink and i gratefully accepted it, it had been a hell of a week and i was ready to have a little fun. I took a sip of the drink and smiled at the familiar burn of the alcohol. I shifted on my feet regretting the red heels i had worn, they were killing my ankles and i had barely been here twenty minutes. I scanned the party for Jc, my boyfriend and he was no where in sight. I turned to Ashton.

"Have you seen Jc?" I asked.

"No i have not seen your lover." he said dramatically with a grin.

I giggled and shook my head as I gently shoved him and stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed and returned the guesture as he held up his middle finger at me. I take another sip of my drink and nearly choke on it when someone wraps their arms around me from behind me.
