Ever since I was a little girl, my mother would take me to see the stars every night. My mother would run her fingers through my hair as we were drinking sodas with blankets wrapped around us. She talked about how the world is big and i should be careful, I even thought about my father sometimes.

But every time I would mention him to my mother, she would tell me not to worry about that. She told me he left when I was a baby, over the years I watched my mother struggle,we struggled together. She always said"as long as we got each other we will be fine".

Middle school was terrible, the kids would bully me and call me names some would even hit me, the sad thing about it was that I never went and told my mother. Over the time I only had one friend Jessica, she was there we went to P.E, Pep rallies. High school came around there were fights, unnecessary dramas and females that wanted to make a name for theirselves by opening their legs to any guy. I was still getting bullied and picked on. The day finally came when I was graduating, I was happy and having my mother there as my support system was the icing on the cake for me.

It was the day for me to move and she was crying and sad but that's what mothers do. I want to move and start fresh, the cab driver loaded my bags into the car and she hugged and kissed me goodbye. "Call me when you get there" she said. I climbed into the cab and said" I will. She closed the door and we pulled off from my house that I had live at for 19 years of my life. I poked my head out the window as I blew a kiss at my mom, I was watching her wave goodbye as she was standing in the middle of the street. I watched and watched until she disappeared. Tears slid down my face and i hurried and wiped them off.
