What The Soul Wants

So if not that, then what it'll be
A little bit more hardcore
Or to go a bit softer
Maybe there's no change required
It's all that I want.
To embrace it, devour it
Lose myself in its purest form.
Grab even the last of its beads
And claim them as my own.

The thrills of the uncertainty
That the life has to offer,
Are the rewards of our own
Taking and giving to one another.
And the solitude we seek,
Is just our soul's silent cry,
To retreat in hopes of delight,
Hopes of tasting the good,
The true and the beautiful.
