How it began

My name is Kokona Haruka and I attend Akademi high, one of the most prestigious schools in all of Japan. I'm a third year student in class 3-2 , and I have a small crush on a boy named Taro Yamada in my class. Little did I know my life would turn into a living nightmare just by having a crush on a simple boy,and it's all one persons fault that my life is a living hell...... her name is Ayano Aishi. Ayano can be described as a loner, a little creepy, and I guess a bit emotionless as well. Today seemed like any normal day, I was with my group of friends chatting about the usual stuff: talking about boys, plans for the weekend, Yui stealing Mei's glasses again, like I said the usual stuff, but today seemed a bit off....well that week had been a bit stressful. A shy girl by the name of Horuda Puresu went missing on Monday, today was Friday and I had a bad feeling about what was about to happen next. Horuda chan came walking into the courtyard hunched over muttering phrases and words under her breath. She pushed past Mei heading straight for Yui, there was something sharp in Horuda's hand, but I didn't register what it was till Horuda attacked Yui. Yui let out a blood curdling scream, stabbed repeatedly in the chest and stomach all we did was back away and watch too horrified to scream and run as our friend was brutally murdered in front of us, Taro, Osana, Raibaru(rival chan) Musume, Shiromi and the six boys on the other side of the fountain watched in horror and slowly backed away. Horuda stopped , taking the knife out of Yui and then stabbing herself in the neck. At this point Yuna looked as if she was going to throw up and Koharu looked as if she could pass out at any moment. The knife was removed and out came blood spraying from Horuda's neck .Yuna screamed as some of the blood splashed onto her uniform before passing out.Koharu quickly ran over to her and dragged her a little ways away from the scene. Horuda finally fell down toppling on top of Yui's lifeless body. Saki and I had tears in our eyes, suddenly everybody broke into a panic Shiromi, Mei and Ryusei bolted towards the teachers lounge, Musume snapped a picture of the scene and ran out of the school with Taro and his two orange haired friends behind him. Haruto, Sota, and Hayato ran out of a separate pair of doors. Sora, Riku, Saki, and myself ran over towards Koharu and Yuna to get them both out of here. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a figure, it was wearing the girls uniform with their hair held back into a ponytail. She disappeared into the shadows once I took a second look. Rino Fuka came running in with the 3 students behind her calling the police. The police came and questioned those of us there, afterwards we decided to meet up at Mei's house, her parents weren't home but her brother was but he wasn't going to bother us. Once up in Mei's bedroom we sat in silence until Saki broke the silence" why... j-just why would Horuda do such a thing?" " Saki please calm down, there has to be a reason behind all of this." Mei said calmly, trying not to let her sorrow take over her voice. " Hey Mei can I borrow one of your shirts since .. mine has.... you know who's....... blood on... it."" Go ahead Yuna, it's most likely the best for all of us anyways"" okay thanks" Yuna replied , walking over towards Mei's dresser to pull out a random shirt to replace the one covered in Yui Rio's blood. As Yuna changed the others and I started to talk about the interrogations we all had to participate in once the police took away the bodies. All 5 of us knew that Yui liked to tease Horuda every now and then but not bully her or tease her on a daily basis. It was the only lead the cops had on the murder- suicide motive. That night we all just decided to sleepover at Mei's for comfort and to do something in memory of Yui. Once everyone was back over, Mei's brother Masato came in as laid back as usual and said carelessly " hey girls, hey baby sis" messing Mei's hair a little" where's Yui?" Tears welled in all of our eyes once he said her name," Yuna go grab your shirt" I croaked. Yuna ran upstairs to retrieve her shirt as Saki searches her phone for the news article " what's going on? Why does Yuna need her shirt?" Masato asked worriedly, Saki shoves her phone into his face,he read the article as his face changed into a shocked expression. Trying to find the right words to comprehend what he just read, Yuna walked up to him slowly and shyly held up her ruined school shirt for him to see. He inspected the shirt before sitting down in disbelief. We continued to take apart our friendship bracelets taking out one string of our favorite color and replacing it with a single red string to have a piece of Yui with us at all times. Afterwards we all went to bed but what happened to me next had me worried and scratching my head when I woke up.
