I believe that the sky is the limit. That there is simply a level that humanity can not obtain. For we are lesser beings. We're corrupt, diseased, dying away. Once upon a time we may have been more. Maybe if we didn't break the Earth we could still be more. But we're not. We're just us. We're HUMANITY.

It angers me. Looking at humanity's weak attempts to escape the laws that bind us to the place that we destroyed.
It looks so innocent; the woven basket, red matte material. Trying to break gravity. But all that goes up must come down. And it will. They always do. I've seen it.

These things, they pollute the sky. And the people that ride them, pollute the ground. They're all idiots, utter morons. Thinking they can leave. They should know by now that we're trapped. Trapped in a birds cage. A cage we forged. What we've done. What we've changed. I've seen that we're trapped.

My parents tried to escape. It didn't work: I told them it wouldn't work. "The sky's not blue anymore." I said "the material will warp!" I pleaded "You'll be consumed by the gas!" But they didn't listen. I knew they wouldn't. No one would. I went to the launch though.

They lit the ring. The balloon inflated. They cut the rope. It took off. I got real high. It kept going. And going. Into the murky sea of death. I closed my eyes. I heard the bang. I closed my eyes. I felt the wind. I closed my eyes. I heard the crash, I felt the crash. I opened my eyes. I cried. I told them not to go. I wiped away the tear. I told them not to go. I closed my eyes.

I believe that the sky is the limit. That there is simply a level that humanity can not obtain. So I find its better to remember the sky's the limit so it's better to close your eyes.
