You'll Be Fine.

1. Tired much?

It is a beautiful morning. It is a Saturday. I'm going to go out and make a difference in this world.

You're talking in your sleep.

Ting.... Ting... Ting... Ting

That would be my phone I guess. I pick it up and squint my eyes at the sudden brightness. 12:03 p.m.
Yeah, I'm a sleepyhead. And the first few thoughts were something I have been dreaming about.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can make me get up now. It's Saturday and no school. It's my right to be in bed for the next couple of hours. My phone rings again and this time I pick it up without noticing the caller ID.

"This better be good. Speak", I bark into the phone.

"Someone's angry. I can call later", the hot voice says teasingly.

"Kol? ", I sit up. Remember when I said NOTHING can make me get up. Let me change that. Nothing except Kol Evans can make me get up.

"Yes it's me dumbass. Wanna hang out ?"

"Yes. Sure. When and where? "

After giving me the time and address, he hung up. I got up and went to the bathroom to bathe, humming a tune. As I came out, I saw two big monkeys sitting on my bed. I shrieked.  They looked up, startled at my expression.

They weren't monkeys. They were my best friends. Christine and Matt. Believe me, we're a walking circus.

"Seriously! Is there no privacy in this house? " I dramatically say.

"Shut up. By the way, why are you dressed up. Where are you going? " Christine asked.

"To the park. "

"For what? " inquired Matt.

I've known them since my diaper days and there is nothing that I have ever hidden from them. So, as nonchalantly as I could, I told them about Kol and me hanging out. They squealed. Like 5 year olds.

Twenty minutes later.

As I reached the park, I turned my head slightly and saw Christine and Matt give me a thumbs up. They had insisted on following me there.

The park was a few blocks away from my house and I had decided to walk. I reached near the bridge and saw him standing there. I ran to him and stopped in front of him. I was panting and huffing.  He looked at me and burst out laughing.

"Tired much? You should do more exercise", he said with a smile.

I gave him my most serious look and tried looking intimidating. He stared at my expression for a moment and then went on to laugh more. I stood there looking flushed and embarrassed.

"So, why did you call me?" I asked.

"Just to hang out... you know. J-just the usual thing. There's nothing wrong with me. I'm fine. Yayyy!!! "

I knew something was wrong. All of a sudden he seemed to get nervous. Something was different. It's Kol we're talking about. I asked him if he was hiding something.

"Yes. Caroline, I have been wanting to ask you this for a long time but I always got nervous. But now I finally have the courage. "

He paused for a moment and looked into my eyes. And then I noticed that we were standing very close.

"Caroline Fell. I'm in love with you. I'm in love with your cuteness, your stupidity, your craziness and every other part of you. I'm in love with you crazily and madly. " By the end of the last line, he looked like a red tomato.

I stood there. Shocked. My mouth hanging open in mid air.

He looked at me nervously. "You know what, forget it. I'm sorry if I said something wrong. "

And that's when it hit me. The boy I love, loves me back. He is standing in front of me, trying to confess his love and here I am making him nervous. And so, I did the next thing that came to my mind.

First, I did a small victory dance and then I jumped on him and hugged him. His body seemed to tense for a moment but then it relaxed. He hugged me back and we stayed like that for a moment. When we pulled back, he looked anxious.

Lord save me.

"I love you too Kol Evans. I have loved you for a long time. Will you be my boyfriend?" Shit! I just asked a boy out. Way to go Caroline.

"Yes! Yes! I would love to. Though I feel like the dialogues were supposed to be the other way round," he said in a happy tone.

"Finally. Caroline got a boyfriend. Caroline got a boyfriend," Christine and Matt sing together.

"Yes-Wait! Have you two been eavesdropping?" I asked, surprised.

Kol said, " It's ok. Anyway, I actually want the whole world to know that you're mine. "
