"hold still" I said to my 5 year old Victoria as she kept fighting me while I tried putting on her shoes.My other daughter Lilly (who is 2) isn't as hard headed.She would fight me but not as much.I finally got her shoes on after 15 minutes I know that's a long time.Ok so let me start my story from the beginning.My name is Darcy Malik and I'm a single mother of 2 my boyfriend left me after I told him that I was pregnant with his second child.It's not the best thing in the world when you take care of 2 little girls on your own. "Alright all done,ready to go to grandma's house?"."YEAHH!!" they screamed joyfully. I buckled them into their car seats and drove off. *30 minutes later* "alright were here." As I started parking my mother came outside waiting for the children to come out the car.As I finished parking the children unbuckled themselves, got out the car, and raced to my mother.I walked out the car, closed the door, Locked the car, went to greet my mother.
"Hi mum" I said with glee."Ello love, how've ya been?" she asked with joy. "I've been feeling a little off to be honest." I told her. "Really well maybe instead of a day off how about the weekend?" She asked curiously while raising one eyebrow. "Mum all I need is a day and I'll be fine." "Nope you need your rest or to fine another man" my mother insisted yet complained. "Mum." I whined. I don't know why but I think she's right. I do need to fine a new boyfriend I haven't had one since Jason left me. Which was like what 3 years already. "Don't give me that tone young lady." My mother scoled which interrupted my thoughts. "Sorry mum but now that I think about it your right. I do need to find a need boyfriend." "I told you. How come you never listen to me until it's last minute?" She laughed "Mum you know I could never answer that question" I laughed with her. And with that we started walking to the house where Lilly and Victoria had already started playing. "Mum are you sure you want to keep them for the weekend?" "Can we mum! Please! Please! Please! PLEASE!!?" Lilly and Victoria questioned at the same time. "Of course I love having the little ones over." My mum stated. 'Maybe they could stay here I mean how bad could it be' I thought to myself. "Hmm..alright then but you two have to be good ok?" "YAYYY!!!" they girls cheered as I agreed to them staying by my mum. "I'll pick you up on Sunday okay?" "Okay mum" "I love you girls." "I love you to mummy." they said in sync as I gave them a hug. "Bye mum i'll see you on Sunday." "Bye love." She said while giving me a tight hug. And with that I went into my car, started the engine, buckled up and drove off.
