Ch 20. Alone Time

Hiccup and Astrid had decided to get some alone time. Dakota was keeping the maniacs, also known as Snotlout and the Twins occupied.  The others were just doing their own things.

Hiccup was sitting with Astrid on the beach. Hiccup wrapped his arms around Astrid, afraid to lose her.  Astrid looked at him, "Hiccup, is something wrong?" Hiccup looked at her, "What? No, why would anything be wrong? Everything is ok." Astrid gave him an, "I'm not an idiot.", look before saying, "Hiccup I know something's wrong, talk to me. Please Hiccup."

Hiccup looked away from her, "Astrid, you got kidnapped because Viggo was trying to get to me so they could win. How could you still love me after that happened?" Astrid put a hand on his cheek, "Hiccup, I've always loved you, nothing could change that, not even Viggo Grimborn, you're still my dorky, yet cute Night Fury riding boyfriend." Hiccup smiled and hugged her, "I love you Astrid Hofferson, so much." Astrid hugged back, "I love you so much too Hiccup Haddock." Hiccup stroked her cheek gently before kissing her gently. Astrid kissed back and held onto her.

Meanwhile......

Dakota, Hannah, Julia, Diego, and the gang including Heather and Dagur were watching them from around and or on a tree on the edge of a cliff. Heather, Julia, Hannah, Lakeisha, and Ruffnut all watched with big grins on their faces. Dagur sniffled, "Brother has grown up so much." Dakota said, "There's the perfect couple right there, besides me and Lakeisha of course." Lakeisha kissed Dakota's cheek. Fishlegs looked like he was gonna cry. Diego smiled, "Those two are perfect for each other."

Tuffnut pretended to barf, "Eww, feelings." Snotlout rolled his eyes, "Astrid and I would be a much better couple." Tuffnut and Snotlout were sitting on a branch that went part of the way off the cliff. Dakota smiled innocently, he then grabbed his axe and quickly broke the branch. Snotlout felt the branch break, "Oh no." Snot and Tuff both screamed as they fell into the water. Everyone looked at Dakota. Dakota smiled sheepishly, "What, they were getting annoying."

Hiccup and Astrid broke the kiss as they heard the screaming. Hiccup said, "Sounds like they're doing something." Astrid said, "The others can handle it." Hiccup nodded and kissed her again.

Dakota slid Dagur's axe back over to him. Dagur quickly knocked it over the edge of the cliff.

Snotlout and Tuffnut crawled onto the beach after getting out of the water. Tuff looked up, "Hey Snot, look up." Snotlout looked up as the axe handle nailed him straight in the head. Snotlout smiled with several teeth missing, "Mommy, I need my blanky for my nappy nap." He fell onto his face as he went unconscious.
