Chapter One: Nova and Nava

Nova:

   The morning sun barley shines throw the cracks of the boarded up windows of the abandoned house,I sit up and look around for my little sister and there she Is,Nava. She is still sleeping, which is good, I get up and the floor squeaks quietly as I tip toe out of the room. I made my way down the stars and out the door hoping Nava was still sleep and walked over to the garden of my neighbor.

   I grabbed some of the fruits and vegetables from the garden and ran back to the house. Once inside I quietly went up the stairs to find Nava sitting up on the little sheet rubbing her eyes. Nava was 6 years old, she had long black hair with white streaks in It, her eyes were red and had a slight purple rim around them....She looks exactly like mother I thought.

   "Good morning sunshine" I said while handing her a apple I took from the farm. "How was your sleep Nava?" I asked while setting next to her and taking a bite of a carrot.

   "Good bubby" She said with a bright smile on her face. I looked at her as she took a bite of the Apple I handed her. I Looked up at the slightly broken mirror hanging on the wall.

   I sigh and stare at my reflection...why do I have to be different?If I was not so different would someone take in me and my sister?. I am 14 but my body says I am 12, I have short and curly white hair with a single black streak in it in the front. My eyes are White with a distinctable red rim around it. Everyone who sees me says "look at that little girl" or "Why does that little boy look like a female".

   I stand up and take my sister's hand. We walk out if the abandoned house that we live in and go down by the river in the woods. My Wolf insist on coming out but I refuse him and bathe in the river waters with my sister. My Heat will come soon...I need to steal more pills..

   After Bathing We put our clothes back on and sit on the river banks.

   "B-ubby" My sister ask shyly.

   "Yes Nava?" I asked Confused at my sister's tone.

   "Bubby..Did mommy and daddy die..because I have no Wolfey?" Tears Swelled up in Nava's eyes as she said that.

   "No Nava..." I hugged her tightly not wanting her to believe it even though...I know..It was true "No" I whispered into her ear while fighting back tears. I didn't want to believe it either mom... dad....
what do I do.
