It's always been raining these past days in London.
You feel relaxed listening to the sound of the rain, even if struggling with your disease is stress in its finest.
You were diagnosed with a disease that causes your legs to stop working 5 years ago, when you were just a 5th grader.
You live in England.
You moved there when you were only 5, and picked up the language quite fast.
For the past 5 years, your best-friend was none other than the wheelchair.
You can't walk, and it was hard accepting that because you loved dancing... It was hard, especially to give up your passion. You know there's a way to fix it and you've been writing notes about it for 3 years.
It's sad how cruel life is.
You wanted to get to sleep, because its the semester test tomorrow.
You don't want to be late, do you?
5.30AM. It's not hard getting dressed anymore, because there's your sister and you've learned the easiest way to do it."Yuri, do you need help?" You heard your one and only sister, Suran.
"No, I can handle it on my own. I'm just wearing a dress and some tights, don't worry." You replied.
"Be sure to keep warm. It's really cold because of the rain last night."
Even for the 9 years age gap, you two still love each other. Suran is amazing and you adore her more than anything. She's your best friend, sister and mother all in one...
Your mother passed away because of a a plane crash visiting Korea... The plane was never discovered, but in was sure to be somewhere in the ocean.
You really miss her... You really want to see her again.
***
You were in class. It was just around midday...The professor was explaining something like normal and you listened like normal, but then you started to feel nauseous...
You felt dizzy...
Your head was heavy...
Your world was spinning and then it slowly lost colour...
Your vision was blurry and the colors were diluted...
You felt that your nose started bleeding but you can't do anything because...
Boom.
Your head hit the table and you blacked out.
***
"Miss Yuri, are you awake?" You woke up, with your eyes still having a blurry vision.
"Y-Yes." You whispered because it was hard to talk.
"So, you've passed out due to low blood-sugar and blood loss. Your nose started bleeding and wasn't stopped soon enough." The nurse explained.
"I-Is m-my si-sister he-here?" You tried to talk.
"No, unfortunately. We did contact her and she will be over in about 1 hour. And we will also take care of you disease... Which is still unknown." She quietly sorry.
"H-How l-l-long a-am I-I g-going t-to s-stay h-here?" You asked.
"About 1-2 months, because we will have to take care of your numb legs..." She explained.
"Your sister demanded to cure it. She'll pay for it."
"O-Oh..." You are struggling to talk.
"Here, you can write on the board." The nurse offered and you nodded.
"Do I have a roommate?" You wrote on the board.
"Yes, but he is currently blacked out." The nurse introduced.
"What is his name and why is he in the hospital?" You wrote.
"His name is Jeon Jungkook and he got into a car crash... He's... Blind. Temporarily." She explained.
"Do I have my phone with me?" You wrote on the board.
"Every belongings you had with you is on the table next to you. I'm Hyemin, please call me with the button next to you if you need any assistant!" She smiled and left.
You just smiled back.
' My roommate is blacked out... I wonder if I can see him. '
You tried removing the curtains that separates the two beds. You got a glimpse of him...
' Brown hair and a bit of blonde in the end of it... A hint of red? Kinda... He's really cute. His forehead area is bandaged though... His face also has a few bandages on it... His left arm doesn't look very good... He has a few bruises... Poor boy. '
***
You've been in the hospital for a day... It's 1 day since you've been hospitalized. Jungkook still haven't woke up.Still, poor boy. He got in a car crash and has been in a coma for what you suppose a few days.
It's around 3PM. You were just strolling down 'FANSTAGRAM' and suddenly heard some words from Jungkook...
"W-Wh-What..?" The boy opened his eyes. But his eye colour was so grey... You immediately put your phone down and rang Hyemin.
A minute later Hyemin appeared and ask "What's the problem, Y/N?"
ps. you are able to talk normally again.
"Jungkook is awake..." You said.
"Oh! Great!" She smiled, then went to Jungkook... almost.
"Hyemin!" You called her before she went to the other side.
"C-Can I see him, please?" You asked.
"S-Sure. Why?" She asked.
"I've been watching him for the past day, haha. I don't know but it's just like tracking someone's health... literally." You smiled.
"Ofcourse! I'm really happy to hear that." Hyemin smiled.
She helped you to get to your wheelchair and pushed you over to Jungkook's bedside.
"Jungkook, are you awake?" Hyemin asked.
(a/n: now, its weird addressing a nurse as her name but i hate the word nurse...)
"Y-Yes... I... W-Where am I?" The boy shook his head.
"What happened? Why can't I see?" Jungkook rubbed his eyes.
"What are the voices... are there people here?" He asked.
"Yes.. I'm the nurse... Lee Hyemin." (ps. hyemin is just an imaginary character, not based off anyone.)
––
After that, everything was settled.
You only saw in once in a while, since you don't go out of the room much and Jungkook can walk just fine... he loves going outside and enjoy the wind.
One day, you wanted to go outside...
Jungkook was there, sitting on a bench.
He didn't look at you, maybe he didn't notice.
"Hi, I'm Yuri. Will you be my friend?" You smiled. It's off to a good start.
You put your hand out, and Jungkook smiling holding your hand.
"Of course!"
Happiness fills you heart.
