"Mioka! Pssst, Mioka, wake up!" I heard someone whisper.

I opened my eyes and groggily glared at Akihiro. It was completely dark in the room. I glanced at my alarm clock and it read 4:30 AM.

"Why are you waking me up so early, Aki?" I whined as I threw my covers over my head and turned the other way.

"I stayed up all night making your outfit. We need to get you all dolled up in a casual way. This has to get everyone's attention."

"You are such a loser," I snickered.

"I am not! Now, wake up and put this outfit on!"

"But I'm tired."

"Too bad."

"Aki, please?"

"I'm not going to pity you."

"Fine!"

I tossed my covers up and sat up.

"Can I at least have breakfast?"

Akihiro glanced at his watch.

"Fine, but we need to start getting you ready soon."

I jumped out of bed.

"Yay! Breakfast!" I exclaimed dancing around in my bright pink pajamas decorated in white lambs.

"Are you trying to waste all my time?" he said exasperated.

I winked at him and began walking out of my room and towards the kitchen. Akihiro was close behind me.

I strolled near the kitchen and a maid came out at once.

"Can I help you Miss Mioka and Mr. Akihiro?" she asked with a courtesy.

"We'd like breakfast," I grinned.

"At this hour?"

"She needs to get ready for school," Akihiro told her.

"What would the two of you like?"

"We'll take some scrambled eggs," Akihiro told her.

"But Aki, I was in a pancake mood."

"We need to eat something fast and energizing and get to work," he told me.

"You really are evil," I pouted.

"I'd call myself dedicated."

"Your breakfasts will be ready soon," she said with a bow before she entered the kitchen.

"So, tell me about the newest piece."

"It's a white dress with lilac colored lace for the sleeves and collar. The rest is a surprise," he smiled.

"It sounds gorgeous!"

"Wait until you see it," he grinned like a child.

Akihiro was always cheerful and excited. He was always ready to try new things, meet new people. He was amazing.

"I'm kind of nervous to actually go to Ouran," I admitted to Akihiro.

"I'd invite you to be home schooled like me, but then how'd you show off my pieces?"

"By going outside?" I laughed.

He stuck his tongue out at me.

"There's nothing to worry about, you goof. You're pretty and famous, people will beg to be your friend."

"But Aki, I don't want that. I don't want people to befriend me because I'm famous. I want people to want to be my friend for my personality."

"Oh, they'll fall for that too," he told me.
