Memories Of The Past

Hailey's P.O.V

After a long awkward silence, I decided to bring Alex home and tell about him to my parents.They will know what to do. They always do. Parents,older people with more knowledge and has the authority to do whatever they want to their kids except abusing them,right?

"Come on,Alex. I'll take you home. You need to rest," I said. Alex stood up and walked towards me.As soon as he came close,I turned and walked out of the nurse's office,out of the school,to go home.

After I reached Alex's house,I said sternly,"Speak to no one about this.Not even your parents. Unless you want them to be involved." He didn't say much. He just nodded his head and walked to his house.

I sighed. Why can't I have a normal life? I walked to my house. The moment I stepped into the house,my mum spotted me and asked me,"Why are you home so early?" I explained everything to her and she was shocked.I guess she didn't think I would have to mate with our neighbour and my friend.

I decided to take a shower. I was tired. I would ask my mum later for inforomation. I took my shower and just slipped into my warm,inviting bed. Drifting off to a deep sleep.

"Hailey! Hailey!" my best friend,Lucas shouted. "What is it,Lucas?" "I found something! Hurry!"

I hurried to where he was and then I saw it. It was a vampire like us but,he had been drained off his blood. As children,it scared the hell out of us. It was traumatising.

"Well,well. If it isn't children." I heard a voice not far from us. I panicked and I immediately grabbed Lucas's hand and pulled him to run away with me.However,he shrugged off my grip and ran towards the voice.

I didn't want to follow the voice. So i ran back home and told my mum. When we got there, Lucas was dead.Drained off blood. So pale like a drained vampire.So very pale.....

"AHHHHHHHH!LUCAS,I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!" I woke up screaming,my mum was there with me,comforting me. After a while,I fell back asleep. Without any nightmares...
