Charlotte's P.O.V

I watched Justin burst out the front door, his face coloured in red and his fists clenched causing his knuckles to turn white. I heard his heavy breathing as he was making his way down the corridor and out the apartment complex. I fell onto my knees, bursting into tears. I didn't know what to do if I found out that, that son of a bitch did anything to my best friend and her family. A few minutes later I heard the front door open to see Olivia standing there, not making eye contact with me, instead her head hung low as she just stood there.

I couldn't help myself, I got up from the floor and ran up to her giving her the biggest hug I could ever give. It took a while for her to react, but one she did she hugged me back. By this point we were both crying into each other's shoulders. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I just couldn't bear to think about what that piece of shit would've done to you." I cried. "Wait, so when he said about hurting 'them', he actually meant me?" She replied pulling out of the hug. "You heard?" "Yeah I was meant to come back inside to change my shoes but then I heard you two arguing. I was hoping you would explain to me what happened between you two". I nodded. "I did it to protect you, I didn't want you to get hurt. He forced me to do awful things with him because apparently you weren't good enough for him. I wanted to tell you but he said that he will hurt you in a way that I wouldn't even want to imagine!" I bursted into tears again as Olivia pulled me into another hug. I was so lucky to have a friend like her, who understands the pain you have to go through. But I did it for her, and I would do anything for my best friend.

Olivia's P.O.V
I can't believe that, that fucking asshole even placed a finger on my fucking best friend, especially in an inappropriate way. I pulled Charlotte into another another hug as I watched her burst into tears again. "Charlotte, don't cry, it wasn't your fault. I can tell that you didn't want to do whatever that jerk wanted you to do. It's my fault for being so hard on you in the first place. I should've known that something was wrong and break up with him sooner." "Have you guys even officially broken up het?" "Nope, but I'm gonna show him a piece of my mind right now"

I didn't care about what he had to say for himself, I'm just glad that I ended things with him. Hopefully. I turned my phone off and me and Charlotte went to bed to try to forget about what happened today. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I don't give a fuck that I'm single now, I'm just glad I don't have to spend it with that jerk anymore.
