Chapter 1

Kara POV

"Although we come to the end of the road still I can't let go you belong to me I belong to you co-"

Boyz ll Men filled my ears as I turned over to my night stand drowsily . I quickly grabbed my iPhone and clicked answer. "Morning babe" a sleepy voice said.

I smiled knowing exactly who it was.

"Morning Jeremy" I said to my boyfriend grinning. Me and Jeremy had been together for about 4 months. He asked me out in September. I can still remember how he did it. He walked up to my locker and got on one knee with a small box like he was proposing .I looked at him curiously and asked him what he was doing? He nervously put a finger to my lip and said "Kiara Lila Jacobs will you be my one and only girlfriend?". He then opened the box that revealed a necklace with a small diamond . Excited and happy I grabbed him and kissed him and said "Does that give you your answer ?" . Ever since that day we have been inseparable .

"How'd you sleep?"he asked

"Hmm let's see.." Glancing over to my clock seeing that it read 6:10am . I sighed knowing I had to get ready in 20 minutes .

"I slept good too bad someone kept me up late on the phone" I said faking a cough. It was true we didn't get off the phone till midnight.

"I'm sorry if I just can't get enough babe" Jeremy said laughing.

"Oh! Whatever " I said .

"You know you like it "

I smiled . He was right I really did like talking to him all night till I fell asleep but seeing as it was junior year I really had to stop that . I spent most of my time with him. Either talking on the phone or hanging out with him somewhere.

"Hello?" he replied I could tell that he was smirking because I didn't have a come back.

"Yep sorry what were you saying? Something about me being the best girlfriend ever? Yes I totally agree." I said with a innocent voice.

"Haha so funny" he said with a laugh.

I giggled smiling hard.

" So I am picking you up at seven ?" He asked his silliness wearing off.

"No Sarah is coming to get me today she said something about some major news"

"Ohh sounds juicy" he said in a girly teasing tone .

"Whatever , but I have to get in the shower . Meet me by my locker? "

"Can I meet you in the shower?"

"Jeremy.." I growled

" Okay okay see you at school" he said laughing hanging up the phone. Though he joked about it me and him never really got close to "doing it" . I was still a virgin , and though he wasn't he still respected me enough to wait. Thinking about Jeremy I walked to my bathroom. Once I got out my shower I stood in looked in my full body mirror. My black hair landed in the middle of my back , curly from the humid in the shower . Sighing knowing I was going to have to put it up in a bun I set down on the bed. Quickly putting some lotion on my honey brown skin I put on my underclothes . Getting off my bed I decided to wear my dark blue jean with some light brown Ugg boots and a white long sleeve shirt. I quickly brushed my teeth, put my hair in a messy bun ,applied a little mascara and eyeliner ,and to top it off some strawberry lip gloss. Nodding my head for satisfaction I walked down stairs to my mom's room. I wasn't suprised to see that wasn't home this morning. She almost never was she was always working . Ever since my dad left that's all she really does . My dad left when I was 13 . He told me he would keep in contact . And he did..for 3 months. I kept sending him letters though I wasn't getting any responses. Later I found out he wasn't answering because he was with his new family in Florida , a long way away from Missouri. "MY MILSHAKES BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD" jumping and snapping me out my thoughts I grabbed my phone and answered it.
