Chapter 1: Back to the Ranch

" Anna" yelled Carter "Long time no see." "Yah" said Anna trying to avoid her brother, Austin's, friend. Anna walked up to her room to unpack her suitcase on the stairs she found a letter to her from Adam (her crush) and a picture with it. The letter said " Hey, Anna heard you were back from China. Nice to know that you went there to help serve meals. If you don't mind I'll be stopping by on Friday with some news. Anyways, see you soon" Anna wondered, what did Adam mean "NEWS"

It was finally Friday. Anna woke up before her alarm that always went off at exactly 8:37 every morning. She was confused. She looked at her alarm clock. It was exactly 6:03. "Uggggh" said Anna. She rolled over and tried to sleep again but that didn't work so she grabbed her favorite book "Sweet Girls and Not So Sweet Boys" (the title just made her laugh.) And her iPhone. She had 7 missed messages. Of course they were all from her BFFl's Summer and Autumn. (They were twins) ( don't they have such clever names😄😃😀) they were doing a group text. They were just asking how her 3month trip was. She responded with "it was fantastic." That was it thought Anna. JUST fantastic. So she sent another one to follow that. It read " Amazing! I had a blast meeting new people and learning a new language" just then her mom called to her and her 4 other sibling, Austin (14) Anna (I'm 22) Michael (7) and twins Delaney and Tyler (5).

After breakfast Anna went out to feed HER 3 horses (Saphire) (Sha'bobbi) and (Sparkle) her family owned 9 horses total. Her 3 plus Rudolph, Tasha, Milkshake, Oreo, Pumpkin and Peanut.

Back at the house Anna's mom, Carrie, yelled "Anna, Adam's here." "what" thought Anna. She snuck in the back door to go change clothes and put on some lipstick. She came back down to see Adam and her mom drinking coffee on the couch. "Hey" said Anna, smiling. "Oh, Hey" said Adam (he was cuter than she remembered) "uhhhhh" said Adam sounding nervous. "Can we talk on the porch". "Sure" said Anna.

5 minutes later Anna was thinking OMGOSH. "What" said her mom. "Ok" "fine I'll tell you." "So you know how I'm kinda what you would call an "Angel"." "Yes" said Carrie. "Well..." Said Anna...
