Chapter 7

This is my favourite chapter. 

Chapter 7. 

              A few weeks passed after that. Will and I were closer than ever. Will and I decided to go to the amusement park. For real this time hehe. Will picked me up at my house at 6pm. He knocked on my door. "Well hello there beautiful" he smirked. I blushed. "Lets go" I said, walking past him and into his car. It was a long drive but totally worth it. We bought tickets first. "My treat" Will said, paying for my ticket. "Are you sure? I can-" I asked, taking out my purse. He stopped my hand and said, "I got this." Will smiled and payed. He's so sweet. "I haven't been here in ages." I said. "Really? I should take you here more then" Will said smiling. I blushed again. "What ride should we go on first?" I asked. "PLAYGROUND!!" Will shouted all of a sudden, then ran straight to the playground. "Oh Will,  you are such a dork" I said to myself then ran to the playground after him. 

                

                When I got there, he was already on the swings. "You're such a dork Will" I laughed. "A cute one right?" Will joked. I shook my head and laughed. Then I walked over to the swing next to his and then he suddenly stopped and stood up. He shot me this pedo face look and went behind my swing. "OH MY GOD WILL! STAY AWAY!! GO AWAY WILL!" I shouted while laughing. Then I stood up  and ran a few feet away from the swing. " You should've seen your face!" Will started to laugh. "Not funny!!" I muttered with my arms crossed over my chest. "Okay okay. maybe just a little funny" he said laughing again. "Hey let's go over there" I suggested. I pointed at a teacup. It was like this ride where you'd sit in it and there was a little wheel that you could spin yourselves. "Hey lets video our reactions, I'll video you spin" I suggested as we were taking our seats in the teacup. "Haha okay, cause I'm strong right?" Will joked. "Oh shut up you." I laughed. Will spun the wheel so fast we were getting dizzy within a couple of minutes. We were falling over each other laughing like maniacs looking at each others reactions. It was really funny. 

                After the spinning, Will and I were so dizzy I was pretty sure I could throw up any minute. "That was wicked!" Will said in a weak tone, still dizzy from the spinning. "Let's watch the video!!" I said. I hit play on the video while Will scooted closer to me. "Oh my god, we look like we're nuts!" Will bursted into laughter. "Hey let's speed the video up!" I said, speeding the video up. Our voices immeadiately sounded really high. We sounded like hyper chipmunks laughing away. "First ride and I'm already having the time of my life" Will said with a smile. I smiled back. "So what's next?" I asked. "ROLLERCOASTER!" he suggested hyperly(if that's even a word). "You're crazy! We're dizzy as hell and you wanna ride a rollercoaster" I joked. "Fine, alright let's go on those" Will pointed at the pedal boats. "Um.." I muttered. "What's wrong?" Will asked. "I'm kinda afraid of water.. You see, I can't swim" I said, embarrassed. "Don't be. I'll hold your hand if you want" he smiled. I nodded and as we were walking our hands brushed against each other until I slowly slid my fingers between his. Then he looked at me and smiled sweetly. He tightened the grip as we ran to the pedal boats area.

              

                After putting on our life jackets, Will got into the left seat of the boat first. I hesitated and my legs were shaking  as I was taking a step into the right seat of the boat. Will reached out and held my hand. Helping me into the boat, which made me feel 100 times safer. "You okay?" Will assured. "Yea thanks Will" I smiled. "Anything for you" Will said with the cutest smile ever then off we went. Paddling our way through the man-made lake. Under the bridge we went, then near the light filled water fountains. He was holding my hand the whole time. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach fluttering around like crazy. "I've been having a really great time Will". "Me too." he smiled. Will was the one driving since the steering wheel as it was on the left side of the boat. We continued to make eye contact and smile at each other sweetly then suddenly the roaring sounds of the water fountains got louder. Waking up into reality, "Um.. Will." I said. "Hmm what?" Will said still smiling sweetly at me. "WATER FOUNTAIN!" I exclaimed. Turning his head in the direction of the noise. We were heading straight for the water fountain. "OH SHITTT" Will cussed, quickly trying to steer us away but we were too late. We were less than a few metres away.

             We exchanged expressions then screamed "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" together. I could feel the cold water droplets falling onto my skin. It felt nice but I'd prefer to stay dry than damp. Still laughing, Will and I tried our best to paddle away from the waterfountains, avoiding each one as we went past them. After we got out of the boat, we walked towards the rollercoaster. "You're the worst driver ever Will!" I laughed while playfully slapping his arm. "Well I'm sorry that you're so distracting" Will joked. "How am I distracting?!" I asked. "Well, you're beautiful, funny, smart-" Will said with a smile. Doesn't he know those things make my hormones go crazy?! I blushed and turned away. Pretty soon, we were at the rollercoaster. And as usual, I was afraid again. After 15 minutes of waiting in line, it was finally our turn. We sat in about the 5th row since he knew how scared I was. I started freaking out as we were going up. Will held my hand and looked into my eyes, "It's okay Kristin, I'm right here, nothing bad is going to happen to you okay?". He always knew exactly what to say. We were finally at the top. "Are you scared?" I asked. "Nope, are you?" he asked. "Not so much anymore." I said, then I started screaming and held on for my dear life as the ride dropped us. I looked over at Will he was having the time of his life. It's weird how he's not scared of rollercoasters but he's scared of scary movies. Oh Will. 

           Throughout the entire ride, I held Will's hand really tightly. I could've crushed his bones ( just an expression he's too strong for that). When it was finally over, I couldn't even walk properly my legs were shaking. Aaaandddd Will seemed fine. As usual. I somehow lost control of my legs but lucky Will was there to catch me. "Woahh, hey are you okay?" Will asked, helping me regain my balance. "Yea I'm fine". "You sure?" he asked. I nodded. He looked at me then back at my legs then back at me. "Your legs say you're not. Come here you" Will said lifting me onto his back. "Hey hey Will ! PUT ME DOWN!" I shrieked. "Nope your legs need to rest" Will said not letting go. "We're going to eat. I'm hungry" Will said then walked over to one of the foodstalls. "Two hotdogs please" Will said to the cashier. "Will you put me down now." I said in an annoyed tone. "Nope." he said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. "You two are a really cute couple!" The cashier lady said while handing us our hotdogs. I blushed. "Thanks" Will smiled then walked over to a table. "Finally!" I said, after getting off Will's back. 

           "Did you not like my back?" Will joked. "Only if you think I like sweat" I laughed back. But to be honest, I did like being carried on his back. Regardless whether he was sweaty or not. We sat across each other, playing footsies while eating our hotdogs. "You really know how to treat a girl. Like as in, I'll just say whoever's lucky to be your girlfriend in the future would be the luckiest girl in the world" I told Will. "Well.. I do like this one girl" he said. I sighed. It probably wasn't me. He probably moved on by now. "She's very lucky." I told Will with a half smile. "Its you Kristin." Will laughed. "No way" I laughed. "No, I'm serious." he said. "Oh" I smiled. "I thought you knew?" he asked. "I thought you would've gotten over me already.." I said. "Well it's hard to get over someone as special as you. You couldn't tell? I was giving you signs to make it obvious" he admitted. "Yea but you're always sweet so it was kinda hard to tell" I laughed. "Fair enough" Will joked as we continued eating our hotdogs. Will and I went on almost every ride. I got scared on most of them anyway..  Will sure had a fun time laughing at my overreactions to the rides and that was all that mattered, seeing him happy. He drove me home and all we did in the car was talk about how great this date was. 

            He pulled over at my house and walked me over to the door. "Thanks for the really great night Will" I smiled and hugged him. "No, thank you" he smiled back. We looked into each others eyes and he leaned in. He was about to kiss me. I believed I was ready. But when our lips were only an inch away, he opened his eyes and pecked my cheek. Then gave me the sweetest smile ever. Little disappointed, I managed to give him back a sweet smile said , "Goodnight Will". "Night beauty" he smiled before walking to his car. I guess I could say that it was my turn to give him signs that I was ready.
