~Y/n pov~
It's only been a month since the Maximoff twins arrived and Pietro is a pain, he thinks it's hilarious to just zoom past me and either push past me or take what I'm holding. I swear if he wasn't apart of this team he would be dead by now and everyone just has to find it so funny to pick on me because I'm the youngest apart from Peter, they treat me like a child and I'm honestly sick of it, I just want to treat me as an equal!
My thoughts were interrupted by Tony flinging my door open, "Don't you know what 'knocking' is?" "Yes, I do know what knocking is kid but anyway there's a meeting downstairs, come on." Then he just left my room to go downstairs, threw on a sweatshirt and went downstairs to join everyone else.
~Time skip to near the end of the meeting brought to you by Tony teaching Steve how to use a phone~
"Y/n you can't go on the mission," Steve said sternly, I almost exploded with anger "Why?!" I so angry, he can't just do that all these years of being an assassin I think I can handle a search and destroy mission "it's too dangerous, I'm not risking you for something so small" I can't take this anymore and that's when I exploded at him "I'm not a fucking child!!! Can you not see I'm a fucking adult!!!! I'm a trained assassin for fuck sake, how do you expect me to a S.H.I.E.L.D agent nevermind an Avenger if you don't even let me fight, what's the fucking point of me being here if your only going to put me down?!?!?!" I couldn't help it, I can't take being treated as a child, like I can't do anything for myself. They all stared at me because I've been someone that raised their voice "I-" Steve tried to say but I cut him off "Save it. You all clearly don't think I can take of myself," I turned to walk out the door to the elevator before hearing someone stand up to stop me "And don't come looking for me, I don't need a babysitter" I snapped and walked to the elevator and left the tower.
~Pietro's pov~
We all watched as Y/n leave, after she did there was a long silence that's was surely killing everyone, that is until Tony spoke, "I had no idea she felt like that..." He mumbled just loud enough for us all to hear, "I've never seen her snap like that..." Natasha stated looking ashamed of herself for putting her friend through this. I stood up and began to walk towards the elevator, "Where are you going?" Steve asked, without stopping or looking back I replied, "To find her" I felt a hand on my shoulder stopping me from moving, "she said she didn't want us to follow her." I turned around to face him after I heard Steve's voice, "I'm not going to babysit her, I'm going to apologise to her and treat her like an adult." Before he could say another word I sped out of the building and to her favourite place.
When I arrived I saw her sitting with her legs draped over the edge of the cliff overlooking the ocean, she looked stunning. "I thought I said I didn't want a babysitter..." I heard her say, snapping me out of my thoughts, "I know but I'm not here to babysit you Y/n, I'm here to apologise..." She turned her head to look at me and gestured for me to sit next to her. I walked over to her and sat down with my legs hanging over the edge, "I'm so sorry for everything Y/n, I should've thought about how you felt" I looked away from her ashamed, until I felt her put her head on my shoulder, I blushed lightly and wrapped an arm around her loosely and we sat in comfortable silence for awhile before I decided to tell her how I felt about her, "H-hey umm... Y/n?" I was so nervous, what if she says no, what if she hates me, what if-- "Yes?" 'shoot' "umm I... I really like you" I mumbled just loud enough for her to hear, "Y-you do?" "Y-yeah..." she moved so she was eye level with me, I thought she was going to hit me and I braced myself for that but instead I felt her lips on mine 'they're so soft' she moved back slightly then said, "I really like you too" before returning to our original position together and I couldn't be happier.
