Happy 1st Birthday to our precious princesses!❤️ One year ago, we were at the hospital. Praying for Julia to be safe and give birth to the twins as comfortable as possible. Girlies, we remember how you two came to the earth for the first time. Opened your eyes to see the beauty of life. However, the thought of Brooklyn's heart stopping for that period of time still breaks us. We couldn't imagine what would happen if Everest didn't put her hand over her. Now they're both sitting, standing, smiling, laughing, enjoying life and Thomas and I couldn't be more happier. We can't wait to spend our whole lives with you two! The memories we will make together in future, the amazing time we will have. Happy birthday baby girlies, we love you❤️ -love Daddy and Papa

I can't believe you're one! This year with you girlies was absolutely bloody amazing ❤️ all the memories are forever in our hearts. We love you ever so much! A year of love, happiness, adventures and Daddy's terrible accidents but you two survived all of it! The times when you met your families, and our close friends was magical. Reality
"Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you Happy birthday Dear Brooklyn and Everest Happy birthday to you!"
The family and friends sang as the two boys held their daughters tightly in their arms. The leaned a little forward so the girls could blow the candles out. Everyone cheered when the candles lit out making the girls giggle. The lovers gave each other a peck with tearful eyes.
"They're one my love,"
"They are so big,"
The boys looked at their daughters feeling tears seeing them grow up so fast. All the guests clapped and hugged the girls before they all ate some cake.
They all danced all day, watched the sky turn colours, told each other stories and just enjoyed the company.
The boys never let go of the girls. They didn't want to. They're scared if they do the girls will grow up and start their own lives.
The girls played in the sand as Dylan and Thomas watched them. It was now afternoon and everyone left so the small family could have some private time. They sat on a rug, with Thomas on Dylan's chest as the brunette played with his blonde locks.
"They're growing up too fast,"
Thomas spoke softly watching the two girls closely whilst tracing patterns on his lovers stomach.
"I know,"
"It's going to go so fast, soon they'll go to school, college, university, get married, have their own kids a-and we'll be left behind,"
The brunette quickly sat up and pulled the blonde to his chest as he felt tears on his chest. Thomas sobbed as Dylan rubbed his back trying to calm him down.
"Shh Tommy, we will always be there for them, we still have time so please don't cry, my love,"
"Papa?"
The boys looked at the girls with their eyes wide. The two girls are now taking steps to them. The boys snapped and encouraged the girls to walk to them. As soon as they fell in their arms the boys hugged them.
"D-did they just?"
"Yes, yes they did,"
The brunette breathed out chuckling as he hugged his daughter closely to himself.
