DYLAN:

I met Sydney when we were in 8th grade at school and we couldn't have been more opposite,i was loud, outgoing, kinda cocky and one of the popular guys and I did love myself.

Sydney was quiet, didn't like to socialise a lot and she was very insecure about herself and she had her small group of friends. i told you we were complete opposites.

However we were sat next to each other in class and I said aloud "oh you lucky girl" she smiled along with the rest of the class and I won't lie I was instantly attracted to her just from that smile.

However we didn't speak much at all during them lessons, as she was very shy, I tried to speak to her but she only gave one word answers. the next year we were again put into the same classes but in opposite ends of the classroom and I'm not gonna lie I was gutted, I mean I know she didn't talk much but I enjoyed sitting with her, the fact that she was so shy was so attractive, and I wanted to know more about her. The next time we spoke was 6 months into the year when we were put into the same group, she talked a little more than she had the previous year but was still very quiet and shy.

After that group challenge I didn't speak to her ever again, well I thought I would never. it was 12 July 2014,2 years after we spoke last, the attraction was still there and I don't know why I had never asked her out, anyway back to prom I was just standing outside with a couple of my mates when I saw a car pull up and a beautiful girl with a light blue dress stepped out, I couldn't take my eyes off of her , it was Sydney.

I went straight over to her and asked if I could accompany her into the hall where the prom was taking place.

She was still quiet and a little hesitant at first then said " sure" i think she was worried that I was just joking with her and I that I didn't actually like her, but I did , I really did like her. I'd had girlfriends in the past but they ended up being a waste of my time and they wanted to rush into things too quickly.

Like Sydney I liked to take things slow and wait for the right time before we went up the next level in a relationship.

Anyway after prom I walked with her to her transport home and said goodnight, before realising I needed

to ask her out. I quickly tapped on the car window and she rolled the window down, I then asked her " do you want to go out sometime" she replied "yeah I would love to" she then said goodnight and drove off. I sighed in relief and threw my fist in the air and thanked god.

A few days passed and then it was the day I would be taking Sydney out, I dressed to impress ( not to sound too cocky), I went to her house and knocked on the door, I was greeted with a beautiful smile on a beautiful girl and said "you ready" she was dressed in a beautiful grey dress and small white converse plimsols, she was definitely my kind of girl, every girl I've ever taken out would dress like such a slag ( not to be rude, but if you saw them you'd agree) anyway back to Sydney, she had very little makeup on which I loved, ( I hate it when girls try and make their face like a colouring book that a 5 year old had coloured in), I'm getting distracted ,okay back to Sydney, I put my hand out for Sydney to take and we held hands as I took her into town where we went for a meal ,as I didn't make a lot of money we just went to a small cafe where obviously I paid. Neither of us knew that this would be the start of a wonderful relationship.

The first chapter of our life, has only just begun.
