The Dance

It was now the night of the dance and your mom let you curl your hair and wear some make up. This was your outfit:

You guys waited for Keri to come pick you guys up and take you to the dance. Keri arrived
Keri: "Oh my goodness you girls look so beautiful, don't you think Daniel?"
Daniel was wearing an orange button up with a vest and khakis.
Daniel: "Mom!"
Y/n: "You look nice Daniel"
Daniel: "Thanks you do too. Way better than what I look like"
Y/n: "Thank you!"
Keri: "Aww. I have to get a picture!"
You guys stand in front of your garage and take pictures then Keri takes one with only you and Daniel.
Daniel: "Can we go now?"
Keri: "Oh yes sorry kids"
Daniel's mom drives you to the school and says bye and you guys go into the gym where the dance is being held.
Again, Hazel is whispering to Daniel about something, probably what it was at lunch.
Hazel: "Hey guys, Heidi and I are gonna go to the concession stand you guys can go along with us!"
Heidi: "But I'm not hungr-"
Hazel cuts her off by grabbing her arm and pulling her to the food line.
Daniel: "I brought you a rose" he pulls out a rose from behind his back and gives it to you
Y/n: "Thanks Dani, you're so sweet"
Daniel: "Want to go dance?"
Y/n: "Sure why not"
You and Daniel walk to the dance floor where the lights are beaming, he holds his arms out.
Y/n: "What are you doing?"
Daniel: "Oh! Uhhh... just popping my arm back into place"
Y/n: "I know what that feels like but it works better to bend it behind your head"
Daniel: "Good to know"
You both go silent
Daniel: "Y/n, you really do look amazing, per usual but just thought I'd let you know once again..."
Y/n: "It's great to have a best friend like you Daniel, it proves I really don't need a boyfriend, you also look amazing though"
Daniel: "Oh.. best friend..."
Y/n: "More than that Daniel you're like a brother to me and I'm so lucky to have you"
Daniel: "Yeah, I'll be right back I'm gonna go find Hazel"
Y/n: "Sure"
