Hiding alone from harsh words

Going to school

        I wake up to find that it was about 2 hours till school starts so I try to fall asleep again but was unsuccessful. I get up and see if anyone else is awake but of course, no one is. 

         Mom and dad always get up around seven to go to work and it is about 5:15 now. My dad is the school principal and mom is a waitress. I take shower and when I am out I get dressed and put a little bit of makeup on.

       I hear my parents are awake so I walk downstairs to find my mom making breakfast. I sit down at my spot and start my homework. My dad walks in and asks

"Have you checked your homework?"

      I roll my eyes and then lift up my homework telling him that I was doing it. He bugs me all the time about homework. When I get finished I stick all my homework in my bag put tennis shoes on and head out to the car. 

    It was a silent and long car ride there, Already dreading the awful day ahead. When we finally get there I get out of the car and start walking inside. With my clumsiness, I ended up tripping over a car stop and scrapping my knees.

    I struggle to get up for a little bit before I noticed the popular girls staring at me and laughing.

     First, there is Riley, the head of the popular girls, she is the smartest and the most pretty. Then there is Cecilia and Nicole basically Riley's minions, They do anything she says.

    Then i hear them all say together "hi Liam."

   Oh, Liam how every girl adores him. Well, Except for me of course. That is so annoying everywhere he walks a girl is yelling Liam or fainting because he touched her.

"Hi, girls" Liam says and walks inside with a group of girls following.  

All I can think is "What idiots."

  I finally get out of my daze and hear Riley yell " You all stop talking to him. He is mine and anyone that gets in the way of me and him getting married is going to get it" 

 I just walk inside because I did not want to get in the middle of that.
